travel is probably my biggest passion/hobby and has been since i can remember. visited around 100 countries and feel like i will never get to a point when i would no longer want to travel and explore more. the world and its wonders keep amazing me. That's wonderful, Nora I guess you're one of the few that voted 'life is an adventure, gotta go!' 100 countries is amazing. What's your favorite mode of travel? Train,,,, cruising? Yes I was one of the few I like taking trains a lot. Never been on a cruise but I do plan to take one to go to Alaska. Usually I fly, but thats simply for convenience, not that I particularly enjoy flying. But what I love doing is exploring on foot. I love not taking or using a map of a new place or planning my trips too much, and just getting lost somewhere. And just walking until I find something I like and then walking some more. I travel alone a lot too. I am talkative and approachable so I usually dont have problems socializing when I want to on my travels. I would love to have been an explorer for a living, if that job still existed. I may have a romanticized idea of it bur the nature of getting to know the unknown is very appealing to me. Recently I found my great grandfathers diary, describing his life between 1895 and 1940, and it was an AMAZING read. I found out he was a sailor and a bit of an explorer himself, lived in more than dozen places in his life, visited several continents, (fought in several wars, was in several prisons) and I never felt as close to any family member as I did reading his diary. If I believed in reincarnation I would say his soul lives in me. We have similar sense of humor too, and face similar struggles in life, it was a really spiritual experience reading his diary.

Eternals may have trouble reaching $70 million in its domestic box office debut after earning a mediocre B CinemaScore from moviegoers.
That’s the lowest audience grade of any of the 26 titles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; the previous lowest was the first Thor (B+). The rest have earned a variation of an A CinemaScore. not surprised. its really bad. and I say that as a Marvel universe fan. This was painful to sit through.

what a cringefest this movie is. barely made it through. (i normally love all things marvel but this was so bad. too serious, self serving, stupid, full of arrogant unlikeable characters). plus barry is So Much better actor than everyone else there it makes everybody else look bad just because his talent is on another level. I wanna give it 3/10 but will sleep on it may go up to 4. But not higher. The cringe is too strong with this one. and the mid and post credit scenes are better than the entire movie somehow...

gave it another chance at the cinema, but nope its still soulless. Albeit presenting wonderful level of crafts across the board. It feels oddly empty to me. Maybe part 2 will improve upon it.

I've never understood the Adam Driver unease people feel towards him. Is he James Bond actor material? No fucking way but is he that "weird looking"? I've seen weirder looking actors than Adam Driver in movies to be fair. Did Adam make you almost walkout, switch the film off or something? No, of course, nothing close to that, but it did make me laugh out loud and take me momentarily out of the movie when a female character referred to him as “handsome”. I know very little about male beauty, but I do know that Adam Driver is not handsome. he is very handsome to me. its subjective. plus look at medieval paintings and ull see their standards were simply different.

Malignant. Hated the first half, was about to leave but then it got surprisingly good.

Oh the anxiety. Its a good thing...i know it's a good thing...but why the hell am i so nervous about it? do you have a trustworthy realtor or lawye or someone helping you? I know I would be anxious without that. Its a big decision.

yeah the blond hair were weird but i did enjoy his mega c*ntish energy he brought. reallly liked the movie as well. It felt like he was playing himself tbh lol honestly my favorite affleck performance? hehe i agree it had a certain “genuine” quality to it. Perfect role for him. I too kinda think his real life is / was close to this movie in a way...debauchery, pricklyness...

I watched it yesterday and loved it - but then the subject matter is my cup of tea right up my alley. I only wish Ben Affleck and Adam Driver weren't in it. I don't dislike Ben Affleck but he is not right for the role, especially with the ridiculous blonde dye job. And Adam Driver, while a good actor, is just too weird looking.

My body wakes up and my brain takes an hour to join it. Brian says to body "fuck off. You can get up if you want, I'm going to sleep longer" I'm a zombie for that first hour. Anything that takes thought will get the same reply "Lemme lone". does this happen to you regardless of what time you get up and how many hours youve slept?

it felts soemwhat souless to me...visually stunning but had zero emotional impact on me. actually made me somewhat miss the lynch version.. I’ll see in a few hours if it works for me or not, but for films like this I’m not looking for emotion, I want spectacle and eye watering visuals. do you need it to feel alive and have a soul? zero emotional impact means you dont care about any of the caracters, and to me thats not very good for a movie. but it is a visual spectacle and looks beautiful, oscar nom for production design and costume/male up for sure, probable win for production design also. this critic from RT describes it well: “This Dune, for all its technical virtuosity, is stranded in an emotionally barren desert.”

As a kid I was really fascinated by history and wanted to become a historian, but my parents thought I should learn something more commercial instead, so I went on to study law. Sometimes I still dream of becoming a scholar, spending my time in dusty old libraries surrounded by books. hey brother. its not too late to switch to your true calling maybe, what do you think? (and ull always have the law degrees to fall on in case of need).

Are there different levels of cheating? For example. If a married man or woman has a one night stand with a woman or man at a bar or a club. Then never sees her/him again. Is that the same as a man or woman who has a long term affair over a few months or even a year? Would that make a difference to you? Or what if you’re just dating? You’re not married or even living together. Then one of them just has a one night stand? What is the last straw? A kiss? Is a kiss enough to leave someone? Touching? Oral sex? Or a full sexual experience? In a traditional (ie: not open etc) setting: 1.. relationship/ affair is worse than a one night stand 2. one night stand is worse than just touching or non penetrative contact 3. Just touching is worse than just a kiss 4. Just a kiss is worse than no physical contact ...but all of the above is cheating. as for what the last straw would be, it really depends on how good the relationship was till then, what went wrong and how much i care to fix it.

My biggest regret is that i did not finish the road i started to become an archeologist/historian. I wish i had been more determent and stayed on the road and not let myself be go down a road i did not really wanted to go. This was back in 2006 when i was 22-23 is anything stopping your from finishing your dreams now?
