Hello! I'm taking a short vacation for the next few days, so it's quite possible I will not be here when we wrap up the round on Louise Fletcher. Therefore, as the creator of this game, I'm making a request: could the subject of the next round be Angela Lansbury? I know we've covered her already, but since we did that almost exactly 4 years ago (October 2018), I figure--the good lady having at last gone to her reward--we could run another round now (with, of course, as few repeats as possible). So, if the person who posts the "Z" entry on Miss Fletcher (Louise, that is, not Jessica ) would kindly post the "A" entry for Miss Lansbury, I would appreciate it very much. THANK YOU!!!

If they're going to do Edgar Rice Burroughs, I wish they'd take another crack at the John Carter series--only this time make it animated. (Also call it something like John Carter of Barsoom. That might take away some of the stigma.)

I don't think this belief was necessarily stupid (though it was pretty strange), but when I was approximately four, I believed that when I grew up, my mommy would "grow down": i.e., she would be my age and size and it would be my turn to be the mommy. No doubt an analyst would find a striking significance in that belief. Another thing I believed was that all animal mothers--including reptiles and fish (but maybe not insects)--nursed their babies. At that time, I hadn't yet learned the meaning/derivation of the word "mammal."

I understand it's available in Scotland (and in a few locations in the US that sell delicacies from the UK) in frozen form, so any time you get a craving for some of that yummy stuff, you can just dig it out of the freezer, slice off a slab, heat to taste, and Rob*'s your uncle. *In honour [sic] of Robert Burns, who penned this salute to the substance in question: www.scottishpoetrylibrary.org.uk/poem/address-haggis/

I also remember talking with a Beefeater, at the Tower of London, many years ago. Their uniforms carry the initials "ER." I asked if that would change to "CR," after the Queen's passing. He said "yes." Many changes ... major, and less detailed ... must be coming about in the UK, and the Commonwealth. After 70 years, it will be a significant sweep. Think of how much money we’d save if Edward had become king. Not only that, but baby brother Eddie seems to carry a lot less baggage than Big Brother Chuck.
