A+ +- Thanos as hot knife through butter is what I wanted & they delivered, albeit with characterization & a solid persona. Not just big dumb blue space monster. - Diving head first into Thanos' angle was super smart. No silly cliché build ups to what they're facing. Offing Loki & icing The Hulk within the first moments set the stage for what we're up against. - More Thanos... trailers portrayed him as some 80's action heavy. SO GLAD they kept him sombre, darkened, & buffed up. The way we saw him first in The Avengers. - Terrific balancing act amongst mini groupings, another seemingly impossible task they just about aced. Stark in space with Spider-Man & the Guardians was a good call. - Dr. Strange while not an immortal god was great. - Nice emotional twists & turns, from mourning to laughing. Full house, I might've been the only one to laugh at (catch?) the Kevin Bacon drop early on. I saw in the credits (waiting for the scene) something about Arrested Development permission... I'm quite curious now. - Excellent arc from where we were to where we're headed. Captain Marvel is clearly now the key to the next film. -- Wakanda was screaming The Phantom Menace ground battle at me. - I kinda wanted Stark to die in his moment. I feel like the rest of my theatre was ready for the same. Thanos having a sense of mercy on ppl (GoG I thought were offed) is a bit fascinating - in that he probably thinks nothing much of life or death seeing as half the universe will be dead on his watch anyways. I'm assuming we're in for some alternate universe time twisting?Captain Marvel clearly on the way to save the day. Looking forward to her movie, apparently set in the 90's ftw. Early rumors have a whole lot of time twisting going on. Possible title Avengers Forever in a nod to the limited series that also deals with time jumping. Think about it: Avengers 4, Avengers Forever. It's almost too perfect. I gave my thoughts on the film earlier in the thread and I don't want to repeat myself. But yeah it was spectacular, and really has me hyped for Captain Marvel and Avengers 4.

Doctor Strange And I think he's secretly going to save the day in A4. Remember when he said he saw 14 million scenarios and they only won once? Well he handed the time stone to Thanos and told Tony 'there was no other way,' at the end. That's the action that led to their only victory, I'll wager. It's a moment that's really going to pay off down the line, I know it. Yeah, I think this is classic 2 films as 1 giant episode will be the payoff. We're talking about movies based on comic books. I would hope there's more to the undoing to the vanishings (rather than pure deaths) via Thanos. I honestly don't know that much about it to speak of. As mentioned, I wanted Stark to die when he might've, though an even more heroic death to come would of course be ideal. Having marinated for 24hrs, I hope they paint Captain Marvel worthy enough. If she ignored Earth during The Avengers with Loki's cosmic attack on New York, than wtf. There will need to be some alibis why she all of a sudden appears to save - the entire f'n universe-. There's no way they've come this far to simply slip her in as a deus ex machina. For if they did, it would vaporize most of what they've worked for all these years, flat out. On a personal note, it's sad to see the Rogers-Stark tiff come to an end, an end that wasn't entirely reconciled from Civil War. Large reason I love Age of Ultron is the personal battles & demons come to forefront, all on the table. I realize the stakes of the entire universe moot a personal 1-1 tiff, yet I hope there's some Rogers-Stark moments to come. Even Banner seems all jovial & carefree. I guess Ragnarok explains much of that, still he's human without clear path.

I guess Ragnarok explains much of that, still he's human without clear path. Yeah and I could be way off about how those characters come back to life, but it won't be as simple as getting the gauntlet and making a wish. A resurrection has to be earned as much as a death, or neither mean anything. Agreed about Carol (Captain Marvel), it's going to be complicated to explain where she's been all this time. This is what happens when you try to retcon characters into a story. I just hope they do the character justice when she shows up. I still believe Cap and Tony go out like bosses together in A4. It's not a coincidence that the entire original team has survived. They're going to finish the story they started in phase one, as it should be. Hulk (and for that matter Banner), Cap, and Hawkeye (remember him?!) will be huge down the stretch in A4, to make up for getting relegated in this one. A4 will have its tragedy but you're going to walk out of the theater that much more exhilarated, having gone through the depths of darkness IW wrought. So excited for that flick already.

Obviously for those that have seen the film. Least favourite? SPOILERS!!!
I'm going to go with dislikes since this movie is so damn full of likes! So much goodness, but if I had to nitpick a thing or two it would be...
1)Not enough Captain America. He had like five lines! Wassup wit dat? Second or third most important character and they gave him so little to do. Thor and Iron Man absolutely steal the show.
2) No Hulk. WTF? Missed opportunity that he didn't bust out hulking out of that Iron Man suit.
3) Killing characters we KNOW are coming back. Aside from Gammora and Loki we can be certain that just about everyone else is coming back. There are Guardians and Spiderman sequels already in the works! The one's we're not sure of are Iron Man, Captain America and Thor since the actors contracts are up. Killing at least one of them would have been something!
But aside from that, awesome movie!

Why didnt Weaving return? He could have done the voice at least. He did a couple of Transformers sequels. Spider-Man: Mr. Stark, I don't wanna go, please do something Mr. Stark, I don't wanna die, sir. **damn that is wimpy. Did he really say that? You better be ready with the most awesome, manly-man, testosterone filled dialog for the day you day.

I guess that is one of the 14 million possibilities which didn’t work for some undisclosed reason. It had to happen the way it happened. 🤷🏼♂️ But that's why it doesn't make any sense at all. If the only possibility of winning is that Thanos gets all the infinity stones, then why does it matter whether he just gives up the infinity stone when they first see Thanos rather than go through the fight and trying to get the gauntlet off of Thanos' hand? What if Starlord hadn't been such a dick and let them get the gauntlet off Thanos' hand first? Would that result in a losing scenario? If so, then why would Strange let them attempt that? How does Strange know Starlord would be such a dick and stop them from getting the gauntlet off of Thanos' hand? IF everything is supposed to happen exactly the way it did for them to win, then what if Groot doesn't say "I am Groot" and Steve Rogers doesn't say "I am Steve Rogers"? What if he just said "I'm Steve"? Would that be a losing scenario then? It just makes no sense at all that if Strange knew the only winning scenario was Thanos getting all the infinity stones, then why the fuck would Strange even allow them to fight Thanos and try to get the gauntlet off of Thanos' hand? That's just really bad writing. Alright, what else makes sense to you then? What other way out do you see now that its done? It HAS to be that letting Thanos win actually turns out to be the only way that things come back to being right. It has to be. There's nothing else.

I was seriously expecting #2 to happen. Like when the Outriders gang up on the Hulkbuster armor, the Hulk just pops out and starts smashing.

I hop that DC Fan just pretends to be this dumb. He might. Seems a little more better behaved on the wrestling board. There are no MCU trolls on the wrestling board.

I disliked that Vision was nerfed pretty much the whole film. They also never explained how he was able to change his looks to become a human.
