It seems to me that AoU got hate for a lot of things that weren't really a big part of the movie, like setting up Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok, but at least it was a full film on its own. It actually has a set up and an ending, characters actually have something resembling an arc rather than just showing up for their turn to fight.

The Bruce/Natasha scene on Hawkeye's farm is better than anything in Avengers: Infinity War in my opinion.

I 100% completely disagree. Age of Ultron was very poorly written in parts and was the first MCU movie where I understood the MCU kiddie humor complaints MCU haters always have. The humor was cringe worthy and some of the running jokes made the movie terrible in parts. I still enjoyed it and actually like Ultron, but it is easily the worst of the three Avengers films.

nah it's
Avengers: 7/10 Age of Ultron: 4/10 Infinity Bore: 6.5/10
But all will depend on how part 2 of Infinity plays out, if they actually undo all the stakes and sacrifices except for the black-guy-dying-first bit, I may lower the rating below AoU.
Btw, so THAT is the quality film you keep pratteling about...?!

Update: No response? I would have so much appreciated un-retarded MCU fanboys teaching me the art of writing stakes...

The Bruce/Natasha scene on Hawkeye's farm is better than anything in Avengers: Infinity War in my opinion. you mean the "I can't bear children, I feel like a monster" travesty ending with a juvenile Play-hide-the-Zucchini joke..? Yeah, the raccoon turd always floats at the shallow end of the pool indeed...

the raccoon turd always floats at the shallow end of the pool... ^^^ according to MCU scripture seeing this scene was the very moment when Kevin Feige had his monumental vision of creating the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Widow was giving him "fuck me eyes" when he reappears in New York.

You know I totally support your avenging; I couldn't be prouder.
I just wanted to say that this is probably still my favourite line in any comic book movie. Even the abysmal trainwrecks like Batman v Superman are made slightly better by this one line in my opinion. If Nolan or Goyer could write dialogue like this, I probably wouldn't hate their movies so much.

I like both of them but Infinity War was better.
Age of Ultron seemed a bit retread perhaps of the first one. Going through the same motions. Infinity War was plenty different though between jumping to different characters and their stories and then having a completely different ending.
Thanos is a much better than Ultron who was a bit disappointing. The action sequences were better in Infinity War, a bit more varied I'd say.
Then just the difference in the cast as well. Having Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spider-man and the Guardians of the Galaxy all together just makes it all more fun.
