I've said many times that Black Panther is over-rated and now I've been proven right. Most movie viewers agree with me that Black Panther is the most over-rated movie of 2018. most overrated movie of year so far?The tally of votes so far: Annihilation = 1 Black Panther = 9 Hereditary = 1 Infinity War = 2 Love, Simon = 2 Keep in mind that thread isn't on the DCEU board but on the general Now Playing and Upcoming Films board. So the voters aren't DC fans but general movie viewers who have no bias for nor against MCU or DCEU. |

Overrated? Yes.
One of the more middling MCU movies?(My opinion) Yes
Still a good movie? Yes
This shows that even if an MCU movie ranks amongst the middle of the MCU it's still a good movie.

I agree with you for once. Black Panther is one of the most overrated films of 2018.
Wonder Woman and Get Out were my top two picks for 2017.

Oh I thought there was going to be some article somewhere discussing a couple thousand poll results or something....not just fifteen people....
But yeah I suppose with how the movie was just a huge phenomenon that it is going to be open for more of this "overrated" talk.
If it had made the same amount of money as Ant-man then it'd be different.
I thought it was really good but isn't it #1 on Rotten Tomatoes for the best superhero movie? Yeah that's a bit much, I wouldn't even say Top 10....maybe Top 15.

It was overrated. Just like WW was one of the most overrated movies of 2017. SJWs and scared critics were more focused on the wider social implications of the movies rather than how good they were. |
