In... Meg Ryan plays: DeDeAngelica GraynamorePatricia Graynamore
I love that movie. Meg Ryan delivers three very different, brilliant comic performances, yet still didn't receive an Oscar nomination. The Academy always chose to overlook her work which is disappointing.

Chalice_Of_Evil, I ordered a blu-ray box-set of the complete 5 seasons of 'Orphan Black'. It was £45.00 on Amazon which is very good for that amount of material. I've not started it yet but it has arrived in the post. I think it could blow my mind. Thanks.

I thought it was pretty great, and Tatiana Maslany is in a class all of her own when it comes to portraying multiple characters that are fully-realised/make it seem as if they're being played by different actresses. All her hard work was quite the wonder to behold and hopefully she took a good long rest after the series finished, as she earned it. Her award wins (including an Emmy) were also all well-deserved. Thanks for letting me know you got the show on Blu-ray and please don't hesitate to post your thoughts once you've started watching it.

First time I heard of the show was when it came up at the Emmy Awards. Hopefully I can work my way through it in the months leading to Christmas.

Tony Randall played multiple roles in "The 7 faces of Dr. Lao."
Donald Sutherland played three roles in "The Castle of the Living Dead."
Rosanna Schiaffino played twins (one good, one evil) in "The Minotaur."
On episodes of Gilligan's Island, Bob Denver, Jim Backus, and Tina Louise played imposters of their own characters.
Sorry if these have been mentioned already. Haven't read the entire thread yet.

I just finished watching an episode of the French series Les petits meurtres d'Agatha Christie (here the show's title is Agatha Christie's Criminal Games). It was the 8th episode of Season 2, titled ‘Pension Vanilos’. In the episode we met the sister of Marlène (Elodie Frenck), Solange (also played by Elodie Frenck). The reason I thought it worth bring up in this thread was because, in their first scene together, I didn't even recognise that it was the same actress. This doesn't usually happen. Most of the time I can pick an actor/actress playing another role in a show or movie, even if they're wearing extensive makeup to hide the fact that it's the same person. In this instance, though, it wasn't like she had tons of makeup on or anything - quite the opposite, actually. Usually Elodie Frenck looks so glamorous as Marlène, but for the role of her character's sister, instead of a makeover she got a 'makeunder'. When watching their first scene together, I thought the actress playing Solange looked somehow familiar, but couldn't place her...it wasn't until the next scene or so that I realised it was the same actress and I was quite impressed at how different they managed to make Elodie Frenck look with just different hair and makeup (or lack thereof). But it must also be said that her performance was what really helped pull it off. She completely changed her entire demeanour from Marlène when playing Solange. She altered her voice, her posture and just became a completely different character entirely...and interacted with herself onscreen. It was quite impressive, I thought. Kudos to Elodie Frenck for proving she can play more than just the 'ditzy blonde' (though the character of Marlène actually has more depth than that and in this episode, when the characters of Swan Laurence and Alice Avril believed Marlène had been murdered, it was actually really emotional/effective, I thought. This is doubly impressive considering I've only been watching the show for a few weeks - sadly I missed the first season and I think I may have missed some of this season...I'm not sure, it's hard to tell since they're airing episodes out of order, which is really annoying/frustrating. I already feel attached to her character and have become invested in the relationship between these three that it made the moment all the more impactful. Usually I wouldn't care so much after only having watched a few episodes). Anyway, I thought her dual performances in this episode deserved to be acknowledged and this seemed like the best thread to do that.

As I've seen it a few days ago, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court 1949, both Sir Cedrick Hardwicke and Rhonda Fleming played two roles each. One each in the "modern" 1912 scenes and one each in the Arthurian scenes.
