Joss Whedon, Sam Raimi, James Gunn, Shane Black and Patty Jenkins can make better movies than Nolan in their sleep. just not with mcu movies. You're very witty, aren't you?

Ant-Man Iron Man 2 Thor: The Dark World The Incredible Hulk Apart from these, I'd take the entire MCU over any Nolan directed movie.

As much as I enjoy MCU there's only three MCU that even come CLOSE to Dark Knight... Iron Man Avengers and Avengers Infinity War
Nolan STILL has the best CBM ever. Yes, I am a Nolanite. That is Kool Aid that I have drunk deeply and unapologetically from. May I have some more, please? Thank you.
Memento, Inception, and the entire Dark Knight trilogy are some of the best movies of the last 18 years.

TDK is the best comic book movie but I would say Winter Soldier touches it and Infinity War is close. Winter solider could not even top DOFP in 2014.
In 2014 it was DOFP not winter solider that got comparisosn to TDK. Logan was not even out at that time.
infinity war coming close is a joke.
mcu fans have their delusional opinions., we have more artistic film facts-facts on our side.
Listen here asshole, I think Winter Soldier is better than DOFP and you think DOFP is better doesn't mean it won 2014 and yes Winter Soldier does match it. Infinity War coming close is not a joke because it is true. Go ahead call me delusional and say you have an artsy opinion or whatever bullshit you spew. Go claim your opinion is better than mine because of your false facts. THIS IS MY OPINION! NOT YOURS! You can't just say I have a low IQ because I like MCU movies. NO ONE SAYS THAT TO ME! NOW IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH IT DO YOURSELF A BIG FAT FUCKING FAVOR AND FUCK OFF!

wait... a midget? is that an insult to dwarf people? WOW....Some of you mcu fans sinks to new lows everyday. calling the great and extremely talented peter dinklarge a midget because he is a dwarf. I put this insult on the same level as when formersamhd used to mock slavery and the holocaust. Funny thing with Peter, he gave a compelling performance as Trask, you understood his point of view on the mutant problem, his dwarfness was not even noticeable because he played the role with so much boldness and conviction. so sad, it just shows how awful mcu movies are. their fans result to this type of inhumane insults.I hate to say this but klienreturns or whatever his name is needs to be banned. that is highly offensive to dwarf people. wow....but in a way it fits, the worst fans usually have the worst movies. mcu has the worst movies so klienreturns is a fan...obviously. You are a nuisance. A very delusional one at that. You need to be banned for your trolling and for spewing fake and fabricated lies that you call facts.

Infinity War coming close is not a joke It is a joke. No MCU movie comes close to the greatness of TDK. I DID NOT ASK YOU. It's my opinion and of many other fans(yes the opinions of MCU fans do count) that Infinity War truly is that great. You and the equally biased summers8 are acting like I said it was better than the TDK. I just said it's close as in slightly below TDK.

But MCU is not done great... How can we appreciate something if it's not true?
Am I hearing you correctly? You think pre-MCU/TDK movies were "movie of the week"?
If that's the case then you have got it totally the wrong way around. MCU are the "movies of the week", especially now when it really does feel like they're literally releasing one every week. They are generic and mass produced.
But before, movies like the TDK trilogy or Spider-Man trilogy were big events. They were exciting and you really forward to them. I wouldn't ever dream of paying to go see a MCU movie.
You confuse opinion with truth, you may not like the MCU but the truth of the matter is most of them are acclaimed and are held in just as high regard by critics, movie goers, and comic fans as TDK and Logan are. You may seem them as "mass produced" and "generic" but not so for the vast majority of other people, and they are most definitely big events in their eyes - hence why whenever a new one comes out its the talk of the town and everybody and their mother is lining up to go see them. That does not mean much. People are fooled into watching these movies with artificial hype from social media. The movies are hyped, people go to see them in droves, praise them, forget about it, then they instantly start hyping up the next one. Rinse and repeat. MCU fans aren't savouring the flavour.
Whereas with classics like TDK/Spider-Man, people went to see them because they actually wanted to. And people were still talking about them for a long time after release. And they were actually talking about the movie, not of the stupid little teaser for the next movie at the end of the credits.

But most MCU movies are very well-liked and are still positively talked about either as a whole or individually months and years afterward. For example it's been 10 years since the first Iron Man, its still very much talked about today and still considered to be one of the best superhero movies ever made. Face it, people don't like the MCU because they've become slaves to internet hype, they genuinely like the movies.
