Bulls with Otto Porter take down another playoff team. 7-3 since the trade with Otto on the court. How do you feel about that - or are you against 'tanking'? With the lottery changing this year, I want the young core to succeed when healthy and playing. Not sure if everyone knows, but: "The NBA Board of Governors approved changes to the lottery system on Sept. 28, 2017 that will be implemented for the 2019 NBA Draft. Under the revamped format, the NBA Draft Lottery will ensure that the team with the worst record will receive no worse than the fifth pick. Under the pre-2019 system, the team with the worst record would pick no lower than fourth. The new system will level the odds at the top of the NBA Draft Lottery so that the teams with the three worst regular-season records will each have a 14 percent chance of winning the lottery. In the pre-2019 structure, the top seed had a 25 percent of winning the lottery, the second seed had a 19.9 percent and the third seed had a 15.6 percent. The odds for the remaining participants in the 14-team lottery will be reduced gradually after the top three. For instance, the difference in lottery odds between the first three seeds (14 percent) and the fourth seed (12.5 percent) will be 1.5 percent. The difference between the fourth seed and the fifth seed (10.5 percent) will be 2 percent, and the difference between the fifth seed and the sixth seed (9 percent) will be 1.5 percent." So 1-3 would be the best, but the difference between those and the 4th seed (where the Bulls are now) is only 1.5%.

We'll have about 18 million. I'm hoping for Ja Morant actually.

maybe that 8.5 line wasn't off defense is atrocious right now we need Embiid back don't mean to beat a dead horse - I like Butler as a '4th Piece' - I wouldn't max him - especially with the free agents coming out this summer

Don't worry 76ers will make a come back in the 2nd quarter. Rockets are known to blow their leads.

Oh boy...when James went to locker room with what looked like wrist injury we thought our season is over. Thankfully, he is alright.

It saddens to me see even after giving up Saric, Covington, Shamet, Miami 2021 1st - to gain Butler and Harris - we're still not Top 3 in the East - even without Embiid tonight - this was just an abysmal performance all around and were never really in the game at all.
I'd like to think if Brown doesn't make the ECF - he's gone as a coach. Bench is still abysmal
Would have liked to think even with no Embiid - Simmons, Redick, Butler and Harris could have given them some wins against the Warriors, Bulls, Rockets.....there's just no chemistry right now - and I'm tired of Brown stating in Press Conferences - 'Well - we've been together for a minute' - that's your job - and it's no longer a 'minute' - and your on the hotseat now if you don't make it to the ECF.

I wouldn't worry much if I were a 76er fan. Your team is the team of Embiid. Yeah, others are stars too but there is a significant gulf between your center and all other stars. I thought Simmons was horrible with how he handled the ball. Too much turnover prone. Although it may have been a bad day for him. Had Embiid been playing this could have been a different game.

The Rockets are ascending at the right time. If Chris Paul can stay healthy, they could go have a chance of making the western conference finals. What do you feel their chances are?

The Rockets are ascending at the right time. If Chris Paul can stay healthy, they could go have a chance of making the western conference finals. What do you feel their chances are? I think Houston is one of the very rarest teams in the NBA history that can afford 48 mins of elite point guard action. Either Paul or Harden is going to be on the court at any point of time provided they are healthy and that does give them some chance. The only problem is that Houston can't afford any injury whereas Warriors can afford injuries. Also, according to our GM we are a team built for the single purpose of taking down Warriors. I give a healthy Rockets 50% chance against the Warriors. But an unhealthy Warriors will have close to 90% chance of beating an unhealthy Rockets. So as we Houston Rockets fans say we were just one hamstring away from the championship.......Let's see... and I believe DeMarcus Cousins will be our best friend. We know how we can exploit him.

Seems like they missed the call here. It should have been an offensive foul imo.

Well, we got what we asked for a few days ago. After the Celtics beat the Warriors, I wanted to see it continue the next night against the Kings and bingo. Then we wanted to piss beat the Lakers and bingo!
That gulp you may have heard is from the Eastern Conference. 😉

I hate to use the word hate... but does anybody else just completely 'hate' kyrie irving at this point? what a miserable no personality whiner, drip and wet blanket. ray and miller - being boston fans (I may be forgetting others here) - do you even want him anymore? wish you would have dealt him trade deadline before he bolted in the offseason? who the hell would pay to see this guys movies or buy any of his products? seems like such a miserable depressed hater. I didn't like him on the Cav's. Always found him to be overrated.

rather abysmal performance in the 1st half.
pacers with an equally abysmal performance in the 2nd - their free throw shooting was atrocious.
#3 seed in the east now.
let's stay there. dodge Boston in the first round

Bullshit. Simmons is just a superstar level player. Embiid is one of his kind. The one who possibly win things for a team. No comparison. Stop with the farce. Embiid is a megastar star. Simons is just a superstar/another all-star.
