This year they had Black Panther and Infinity War which were the biggest movies of the year.
Next year they have a ridiculous line up of movies.
Captain Marvel Dumbo Aladdin Avengers 4 Frozen 2 Toy Story 4 The Lion King
Five of those at least are sure to make a billion. A studio has never had a bigger line up of movies to be honest.
I actually don't think Avengers will be the biggest either. I think The Lion King is going to beat it out. You never know but something else might do as well.

Serious question?
Lion King won’t break 1.5. It’ll be a bit of a surprise if Infinity War 2 doesn’t beat the first one, over 2 bills.

Avengers 4 is a given.
Toy Story 4, Frozen 2, Aladdin and Lion King have a very good chance of being huge hits.

I can’t believe they really have alll of those coming out next year. Like it’s an entire childhood being shoveled out in one great clump.
A4/TS4/F2 seem like the safe choices, with the rest having more fail potential.

A4 & Lion King both could easily break $2 Billion, hell if Lion King does similar to BATB is regards to how much the live action version does more than the cartoon and it could get close to $3 billion, but $2 billion should be easy, the original did like $800m easy and $100m via a 3d rerelease less than a decade ago, it's a fucking monster.

Well The Lion King practically just had as many trailer views in 24 hours as Infinity War and that's a not a fanboy driven movie either and they never advertised it was coming.
I don't think Avengers 4 will do as well as Infinity War same as how Age of Ultron didn't do as well as the original.
On the other hand Beauty and the Beast made over $1.2 billion and as popular as that movie always was, it was never remotely as popular as The Lion King.

Avengers 4 will make the most money at the world-wide box office when it is all said and done but many of those movies will make huge amounts of money as well.

I can’t see Lion King not being a success financially. It’s hard for me to choose between that, A4, TS4 or Frozen 2. Maybe A4 will be the victor, but these are all so close.

The Lion King will make more money than Avengers.
Frozen will probably beat it domestically too.

Did they move Episode 9?
With Abrams back, it might take the top slot.
I'm not sure about Toy Story 4. 3 was patchy

I don't care what you say those fruit be humping and humping in sync unlike some overgrown turtle I know...damn you Bowser...hehehe, you know I still haven't watched Frozen, I hope it's on TV this Christmas that seems like a perfect Christmas dinner movie for me and my sis to watch.

It's really hard to say between all the Disney Disney movies. Depends on the catchy songs, the script, the general magic/heart of the movie. Nostalgia is a given. Judging from the trailers alone, I prefer Dumbo over the Lion King. Also different competition needs to be taken into account too, which will take some money away from each of these movies. I suppose Mary Poppins, which is due out very soon this year could be a good guide of things to come.
I say Avengers 4 will make the most. Then Frozen 2 or Lion King. Dark horses-Dumbo or Star Wars. Really hard to tell
In case anyone was curious, here are the release dates.
2019 8 March-Captain Marvel 29 March-Dumbo 3 May-Avengers 4 24 May-Aladdin 21 June-Toy Story 4 19 July-Lion King 22 November-Frozen 2 20 December-Star Wars:Ep IX
Previous Box Office Jungle Book-966 million Beauty and the Beast-1.26 billion Frozen-1.27 billion Toy Story 3-1.06 billion Cinderella-543 million
