I’d say LA cause it’s only a short drive to SD from there.

You know, I've been giving this a lot of thought. I've really never been to KC so I'm leaving it out, fairly or unfairly.
For my money, all 3 of LA, New Orleans and Boston have TONS of great things to do in terms of culture, night-life, general fun, and what not. The weather question is, quite frankly, stupid. Sure, SoCal has great weather overall but for my money I'll take a change of seasons every time, and having lived in both LA and New Orleans for a while, I've had my share of it all. We go snowboarding all winter long, my dog loves wrestling with other dogs in the snow, and when spring starts, it's like an awakening and everyone enjoys it. When I lived in LA, people treated the weather as an afterthought. Not everyone, obviously, but it seemed to be the general attitude. And for all of this talk of how "shitty" winter is, which is some serious whining, I'll take a brutal winter day over a July/August day in New Orleans 10 times out of 10. Beyond that, putting on a coat is hardly the hardship some of y'all make it out to be.
So it comes down to food. Boston has some great restaurants, Giacomos and Pomodoro in the North End, and awesome lobster rolls everywhere but this comes down to New Orleans vs. LA. The New Orleans food scene is known to us all. It's awesome, no doubt. Give me turtle soup, a fried catfish or fried oyster poboy and blacked redfish and I'll be a happy camper. But after 2 or 3 days, I'm kinda yearning for a glass of water and some raw vegetables. In LA, you have some of the country's best sushi, Japanese cuisine and Mexican food. Hell, New York has some great izakaya and omakase places but even the best ones here pale in comparison to the ones on the West Coast.
So I'm going with LA on this one out of the 4. That's not a knock on any of the other cities as they both have great things to offer.

What are you saying? You can't get vegetables or water in New Orleans? Stop being deliberately thick. Everytime I go out to eat in New Orleans, vegetables are either a side dish or interspersed in the main course. Same thing with water. If they don't automatically serve you a glass of ice water when you sit down. It is only a request away. If you can't find vegetables and water in New Orleans, you ain't in New Orleans. I don't know what you are talking about.

I assume that's the semi-finalists for this year's handegg supper bowl🤔 Can't go for Boston, that's all WASPS and plastic paddies. Nor Kansas, they're all white trash tornado bait. New Orleans is too close to them Cajun swamp mutants. Suppose it'll be Los Angeles. Homeboys down Compton would be a bit of a laugh👍 Come on down Jack! We’ll take good care of you in the barrio. That's very kind of you👍 but you'll have to bring the barrio to me, I wouldn't be allowed in to your country.

Cowboys are firing OC Scott Linehan, per Ian Rapoport He'll have plenty of time to visit one (or all) of these fine cities.

I picked Boston. I like the city, although the people who live there are terrible.
