For the most part, I only see teen and adult LGBTQ characters. If people are born with various sexual orientations and sexual identities, wouldn't it make sense for Hollywood to show more of these characters as children in movies and TV shows?

No, and especially not by Hollywood of all people, because things like this should happen naturally, not be forced. And if it's done by Hollywood, it will be done for the wrong reasons. Publicity so they can get more money. Just like they tried to do with that Solo movie or whatever. Hollywood don't give a shit about anyone, let alone LGBT people. (What's the Q by the way? I thought it was just LGBT)

So you want to see movies about children's sexual feelings and identities? Sexual orientation is about more than sex, dumbass. I love how you heterosexist pigs love to turn everything gay into an issue of child molestation. And are you LGBT? I doubt it. No one asked your opinion, breeder. The OP did, genius. LOL, what is wrong with you? Can't you read?
Shouldn't you be scouting glory holes or something?

So you want to see movies about children's sexual feelings and identities? Are you that fucking stupid that you honestly think I want little kids of any sexual orientation to express sexual feelings?

Yes, it would be of immense help to queer children to see themselves and their concerns addressed. Most of them are hiding their feelings from family for fear of rejection. I know from my own childhood that it would have helped me to get some information on this topic. When I was about 10 years old I started to realize that I was one of these "fags" people despised and joked about. I even asked my older sister "what's a homosexual?" She told me it was a man who dresses up like a woman. Lol and at the standard ignorance. Needless to say I was mortified because I wanted no part of that. It would have helped me to see other 'gay' children in media. Thank you for sharing that.

Are you as stupid as your nauseating avatar looks? The poll question is for " LGBTQ supporters ONLY". You implied discussion for and about queer children in media implies some questionable motive on the OP's part. No, you do not support my people. GTFO this thread, NOW, lowly breeder. The days when you creeps could try to intimidate us into silence are long over. Lowly breeder? If it weren't for "lowly breeders", such as your parents or mine, none of us would be here.

I, as a child, knew nothing about homosexuality, and it was explained to me in college. Thankfully, I was leaving my Bible-thumping past mindset, and have always been, as a gay friend of mine characterized it, family-friendly. I worked for years in a large social expression company amongst creative people, both gay and straight. So, if it can be done in a manner that shows respect and not exploitation, I would be for that.

I do agree with you to some degree. I don't trust Hollywood or television to get it right. Every depiction I've ever seen of LGBT people on prime time tv has been stereotyped nonsense. For example, the much lauded "Will & Grace". Though they were likable characters, the two gay guys both minced. They were flamers unlike the other 90% of us. It would be helpful if they worked gay kids into families on sitcoms and movies. But their homosexuality should not be the central issue. It's just as they were forced to work African-Americans into prime tv in the 1960's and 70's. Thankfully most the time blacks were not shuck and jive personas. And the gay characters can't be flamboyant queens. Are there any children's books out there that address this issue? I know there was one about a child having two mommies, but that's about adults. Any books out there that I would have no idea existed, given I have no kids?

Kuato… I knew we had sharp disagreements on a number of subjects, but I always thought you were better than this. Better than what? I'm just using his own words. He admittedly gets blowjobs in public bathrooms:
He's a fucking slob.
As far as your first response, well I was kidding, but you did say:
Kids used to ride their bikes, play with toys, hell even video games are fine. But you want to see their "orientations" explored. I'm as straight as it gets and thought girls were gross when I was a kid. I don't want to see jack shit about kids - of any orientation - and sex. Get outta here with that shit.

So you want to see movies about children's sexual feelings and identities? Why are you being obtuse and unemphatic? I guess like most breeders, they take things for granted. His words:
Breeders, lol. Go to talk to a shrink about that anger, bro.

I said nothing about my views on the "LGBTQ" community. I'm very pro-gay rights. I'm not a fan of the Q, but I don't deny them any rights. I hope this makes your head explode.
"My people", lol. Go see a shrink. You're waaaay too angry. And the blowjobs in public bathrooms? Kinda gross.

Lowly breeder? If it weren't for "lowly breeders", such as your parents or mine, none of us would be here. Gays are not represented very well on this site. Look at the both of them with that "breeders" nonsense. They have problems. Very angry people. Well, let's see now: - How many rude names are there for LGBT indivicuals? - How many of them have been assaulted, beaten, permanently disabled and murdered by angry and/or hateful heterosexuals? - How many laws have been passed criminalizing their very sexuality and, to this day, target them for discrimination and marginalization? Any group subjected to all that in the U.S. alone is entitled to be a little "angry." If a euphemism like "breeder" is the worst you get, you're on velvet. You're at least half-right about the "problems," some of which have been listed above; the only "problems" associated with being LGBT are the ones created by those who aren't.

No one on this thread did anything to either one of them, let alone "their people", but you condone them labeling all "breeders" bad because some straight person somewhere in history treated a gay person poorly. You talk about slurs used against LGBT folk and openly ignore and pretty much defend them calling us "breeders".
You people (liberals) want equality, but create subgroups and all forms of separatism every chance you get.

Any books out there that I would have no idea existed, given I have no kids? The "two daddies" and "two mommies" books were about gay parents with heterosexual children. As far as I know there are no books about growing up gay made especially for children. Like the fool kuatorises on this thread, the scare tactic of gay males as child molesters is always thrown out when the subject is breached. Schools don't seem to want to even touch it. And gay children suffer. Could you tell your story at a 9 or 10 year old's point of view? I can't relate to the story itself, but I can illustrate a children's book if there is someone who can coach me on surroundings, facial expressions, social settings, etc. I've been published, and one of the licensed properties I worked on was Rainbow Brite, where all the kids were different races, and had different personalities, but that was a story that involved magic and a horse that could fly. I'd need coaching on a real-life scenario.

There's so much wrong with this reply that addressing it challenges brevity; minimizing true and lasting harm suffered by thousands upon thousands as "some straight person somewhere in history treated a gay person poorly," for instance. You say you're "very pro-gay rights," but don't express yourself like it. If you are, then you know perfectly well the rhetorical questions I posed represent the reality of LGBT Americans within just the last century. Yet all that is brushed aside in service to your offense at the one term, "breeder." If you look more closely, you'll see that rather than "defend" or "condone" it, I said simply that "Any group subjected to all that in the U.S. alone is entitled to be a little 'angry'" (your own description), and repeat my final point. If you object to blanket generalizations, you might reconsider your own: "You people (liberals) want equality, but create subgroups and all forms of separatism every chance you get." Like it or not, it's a two-way street. Rather than a "strawman," those questions are right to the point. You're welcome to your offense if you really want it, and if my contextualizing it is cause for discomfort, that's for you to work out.
