One of my heroes, delighted to see he is now on the mend after some turbulent mental health issues. What a player, the faster and more brutal the bowling the better he was, Allan Lamb the same, Thorpe and Botham also, boy that's why I fell in love with cricket man!

SMITH played the greatest ODI innings of my teenage life. cricket ruins so many lives. or does it save? nobody knows. saves. ruins. its all sadistic.

Cricket back in the 90s was awesome though India sucked big time out of India. My first game that I remember was South Africa's return match to cricket after the apartheid era.

Steve Smith nutmeg run-out! If he had bigger testes he'd have been OK!

Splendid news for those in teh UK withiut Sky Sports: England's final against New Zealand live on free-to-air TV - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/48957255WTF would they move it to More4 for some shitty F1 race?

The big similarity from 1992, England look the best team but didn't finish top, defeated the concensus third best team in the semis (Saffers in 92, Oz this year) and then had the top team (NZ in 92, India this year) go out to a side that only qualified for the last 4 due to a washout (Pak against Eng in 92, NZ against India this year) which kept out a more deserving 5 seed who they had lost to in the group stage (Windies in 92, Pakistan this year). We all know what happened in 92: will history repeat?
And will they finally jetison the NRR. If two teams are level on points then whoever won the H2H should go through with NRR only being a tie breaker in the case of 3 teams being level on points or the H2H game being tied or washed out.

Well I pay for all the cable packages but have to say I have no problem with this. My dad is 80 and doesn't entertain the idea of cable and the like, but he loves cricket and this means I can watch it with him at his house on Sunday - whilst flipping over for F1 and Tennis Final... Who the hell did the scheduling to have three of the major sports events in Britain on the same day!!!

so will GUPTILL do a GILCHRIST today? GILCHRIST was out of form in the league phases of the 1999 and 2007 world cup, but went apeshit in the finals of both cups.

Right I'm off to my dads house to watch it with him. I'm not someone who uses their phone to post on line so I will be off line till some time after the match. Lets hope the best team on the day wins - and without controversy - so catch you later dudes.
