OBJ has been traded to the Browns. What the hell Giants? I swear they're dedicated to paying Eli Manning and nobody else at this point. They will ride and die....most importantly die with Eli as their quarterback

Looks like my pick for the Browns to win the AFC North is getting better and better!! They will have a great offense now with OBJ in the mix.
As for the Giants, well they are just tanking, probably so they can draft a franchise QB in the next 1-2 years.

As a Pats fan the most exciting part of free agency is guessing which players you're going to lose. Then you get to start guessing which nobody Brady & Belichick are going to turn into a coveted star next.

49ers apparently sending KC a 2nd round pick for Dee Ford The Niners are building up their defense, they will be a much improved team in 2019 with a healthy Garappolo.

Giants trading away Odell to the Browns....I know the guys a jerk, but fucking hell!
He could be a great asset for the Browns. Assuming he doesn't have a meltdown and become toxic waste and in general, it turns into another shit show. Cleveland is susceptible to these kinds of circus's.

So the Giants get a 1st round pick, 3rd round pick, and a player for their star wide receiver.
This is what the Steelers should've gotten for Antonio Brown!

That player that they got too was a box safety. One that isn't as good as the one that they just let walk out the door. I'm shocked they couldn't get a better offer than that. If I was the Packers I'd of given up #12 and #44 plus maybe a 4th rounder.

So how does everybody feel about their team after the first two days of free agency?
For me I feel relieved. The Packers didn't really sign any stars. Amos is the biggest deal and I'm so happy they got him for 2 reasons. He is a very good player and they're taking him away from a division rival in the Bears.
Then there is the two Edge Rushers in Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith. Neither guy is going to jump off the page and wow you. However they're both serviceable players and the Packers are paying them not for past production but for future production. They have shown flashes. Immediately they bring in more pressure on the QB than what GB had at that position with anybody all of last year. That will be a pretty decent rotation of guys with Smith, Smith, Fackrell and possibly a rookie in the draft.
Billy Turner idk how to feel. They need a versatile offensive lineman because they really don't have shit for depth there. He can play all over and got paid based off of a few good games last year. I imagine he'll challenge for the starting Guard position and or be the much needed 6th lineman that will end up playing quite a bit after injuries. Packers have no depth there. He in no way prevents them from drafting a top level lineman either which I still think they'll do.
My biggest take away from these signings is this. Brian Gutekunst now can go into the draft without feeling like he has to reach on a player just to fill a need. He can now truly draft for best player available. So what if guys like Ed Oliver or TJ Hockenson are there are #12? Awesome. I'd love either of them. Hockenson imo is the #1 offensive weapon in this years draft and as a Hawkeyes fan I'd love him. Hawkeyes tend to do really well when they go to the Packers. It's pretty much a pipeline. Ed Oliver wouldn't fill a need now but Mike Daniels is a FA next year so he could be a great choice. Is a CB like Greedy Williams available? Sure why not. Kevin King can't stay on the field with injury issues. Maybe Josh Jackson transitions to Free Safety after next year if he doesn't show more promise at CB. Same goes for an offensive lineman like Jonah Williams. Gutey can do so many things instead of feeling forced to reach on an edge rusher like a Jachai Polite or a Safety like Deonte Thompson at 12 in case certain players are gone. This simply gives him relief and I am all about that.
I'd give the Packers Free Agency grade a B- Overall.

The "winner" of free agency and who can spend the most money is rarely the team that wins the title the same year. They have a lot of cap space but they'll need it eventually to sign their o-line, Leonard, Ebron, Inman etc. I'm confident they can find pieces in the draft.

It's teams like Washington that spend and spend and never learn their lessons that get deemed "winners of the offseason" yet miss the playoffs. What I like about GB's deals is that none of them have that much guaranteed money so they can get out of them after 2 years easily. If they don't then that simply means said players are playing extremely well. The Colts are in a scary good position. They seemingly have a GM that actually knows what he is doing. I figured they'd make some big moves but so far not seeing anything. I really thought they'd be in play for somebody like AB or OBJ. Glad they didn't bite on Bell as I think they have a solid guy in Marlon Mack. Maybe the Colts wait for the post June 1st cuts. Maybe they pick up Eric Berry after he is cut on a 1 year prove you can be healthy deal and reap the benefits of it by him being super motivated to get the chance at another contract. It'd be a good time to be a Colts fan imo.

WR’s Cole Beasley and John Brown go to the Bills. Good additions for the Bills to give Josh Allen more weapons around him. Who will the dumb redneck chicks in Dallas get all wet over now? I have it on good authority from DC-Fan that it's Leighton Vander Esch.

I generally agree, but they had over $100 million to start off free agency and the cap is going up about $10 million per year - - you have to use it for something. Inman is a replacement level player - - you're not paying him anything extravagant. Ebron isn't much more, despite all the touchdowns last year. Leonard absolutely will get paid, but he's just entering year two. I'm surprised that they didn't like ANYONE because they could have beaten everybody in a battle of contracts and still had boatloads of money afterwards.

He’ll have a career year with Luck.
