Race With the Devil? Definitely a pisser that after all they went through and thinking safe and about to guzzle the driest martini's ever they are suddenly surrounded by fire and the devil worshippers.

More recently, Hereditary (2018). I mean, hadn't that poor family suffered enough already?

Night of the Living Dead (1968) The Fly (1986) The Mist (2007) Not so much the ending, but Pumpkinhead (1988) made me so sad due to the kid's death.

Terribly sad and far too realistic. The movie left me depressed.

Don't get me wrong. It's a well-regarded film and lots of horror fan like and would recommend it. But I just found it too sad.

HALLOWEEN II (1981)!
As a 13 year old back in the day, I was gutted to see Michael burn up at the end!!!
