So my direct TV guide says this episode has nudity in it. Where could that fit in this battle?
I think Mel is already in the crypts as an old lady and saves everyone. And shows skin while doing so. Just a prediction

I can't believe it's here.
I kinda don't want it to be.
I hope all who die take a hundred with them.
Do you think a wright Brienne of Tarth fights like Brienne of Tarth?
I'd wager a White Walking Brienne of Tarth is tough to beat.

I’m really disappointed in this guys. Massive spoilers. arya apparently kills the NK and the WW are defeated. Is this the most anti climatic moment in tv history? Jesus

The NK's demise was a bit of a shock. I was expecting it to be Bran who defeated him ... somehow. It looked like Brienne and Sam were still alive at the end , though the scenes were too quick to tell for certain. No idea about Podrick. RIP to Theon. Can't wait for next week's ep!

Jesus Troyal I was dissapointed too but for different reasons glad NK is GONE I knew it would be end of him for the real battles to come between houses , I was dissapointed because it was all a blur theon and Jordan dying was very sad especially jorah I didn't expect it , i felt bad for Dany I think she lost only person who cared and loved for her so house Mormont is dead And please explain to me who in the world did bran warged into The NK ? So bran was doing all this ?? So confusing in the end it was a stark who took out the NK and the dragons actually just brought more chaos IMO

I loved it. My biggest complaint is that some of the action was hard to follow due to lighting and camerawork.
As far as the story itself I have no big complaints. Theon and Jorahs moments were both emotional. Lyana s was badass. Arya’s was fantastic.

I agree, the lighting made it a bit difficult to see who got grabbed, tackled, etc. I was also hoping for more from the walkers. I mean, a lot more. Well, I guess that's why they don't call them White Fighters.

I was also disappointed to hear the producers say they knew Aria would kill the Night King for the last 3 years. That actually explains a lot. And it makes me sad, too. Think of all the possibilities that they dismissed because they had it in their heads that she would be the one this whole time. 🙁 I agree the whole scene looked over the top but I bet arya fans are really happy , so I guess that is what GM is doing in the books too ?

As a standalone episode, it was fine. In the context of a climatic battle with 8 years of buildup, it was a bit of a letdown.
I knew Theon was a goner. Everyone else I was 50/50 on with the exceptions of Dany, The Hound, and Jaime who thematically had to survive to fight Cersei and co. That said, I was expecting a lot more victims than this.
Before Arya came out of nowhere, I thought the Night King could actually win, and maybe everyone would die and Bran would have to do some kind of time travel thing to undo everything or something. This was probably influenced by Endgame, but credit for actually being suspenseful.
Still, a gut stab seems far too simple and meh a resolution to this entire White Walker storyline. Arya didn't even struggle, just hi and bye.

Jesus 1) I called it a couple of years ago, when they handed Arya the Valerian steel dagger: "She's gonna kill the Night King with it." 2) I said a few days ago: "They will defeat the NK in this one episode, and then move on."

I loved the episode, very intense. But the night king “revived” everyone too quick. At that point I knew that he would die for anyone to survive.
Should be a good final 3 episodes. Better that Cersei went back on her word and now the battle for the throne begins. I also like that 99% of bullshit theories are now blown out of the water

I give the episode a 7/10. It was a good episode yet at the same time I'm very disappointed in it. The hype build up all week to this episode got to be too great that there was no way it could possibly live up to it imo. I was expecting some serious and drastic deaths but I feel like nobody of any importance died. Thoen? Meh. Lyanna? Meh. Edd? Meh. The biggest character death we got was Jorah. Even that one felt pretty safe. I'd have liked to have seen somebody of real importance die in order to really show the impact that this fight had on everybody and the rest of the show.
The battle itself was damn hard to follow. I turned off all my lights thinking that it would help by not reflecting anything on the screen but shit no. It was hard telling who I was looking at half the time. "Is that Jaime or is that Brienne?" "Fuck is that Tormund? He's got a beard so I'm gonna assume that Tormund." It was rough at times.
I will say I laughed a couple times this episode. When Sansa says she doesn't know how to use a knife. I couldn't hold it in. I thought at first "how dumb are you?! it's a fucking knife!" then I quickly remembered it's Sansa and she's a dumbass. When that giant just slapped Lyanna like the little piss ant that she is I laughed hard. I also laughed when she screamed and charged. It was just so damn funny.
So yeah, I guess we're onto the Iron Throne now. No A list characters died. Maybe at most a B character died in Jorah. Both dragons lived. Nobody seemed to have lost an eye or a hand. Just seems anticlimactic that this big event occurred and yet so many of them are leaving unscathed. Couldn't we at least have gotten Bran dead so we could get this narrative that the NK kind of won? Guess not.

I like Aria, and I'm sure her biggest fans are happy I have just decided to throw a party and will invite all my close friends available near me and all the food and drink will be on me.
