It's St Kevin's Day today... and he is your patron saint 👍 Not fond of people... lived in a cave, and fed on nettles and herbs. Great friend of animals, many many stories exist of his friendships with them. Nice chap.

My handle, "Koskiewicz" is Slavic and the prefix "kos" translates to blackbird in English from Polish. Kosovo, that Balkan region, roughly translates to "valley of the blackbirds" named after a famous battle.

He's asking for trouble waving that bird around in front of that cat. The cat is an otter 😉 He/she was one of St Kev's pals... and who doesn't want an otter as a buddy 🤷 I certainly do. A lot of our Catholic Saints are connected with protecting animals and nature... I think God is trying to tell us to be kind to all kinds. Have you seen today's saint?

Otters do eat birds though so I hope he was still careful.
