50/100 Movie Nation - Roger Moore Jun 4, 2019 It’s just that the whole affair feels winded, an argument — Will humans finally accept the mutants among us? — that’s exhausted everybody concerned, with many involved somehow knowing that those “Days of Future Past” are returning. Read full review

Sophie Turner's expressions - alternating between a teen uncomfortable in her own skin to a femme fatale possessed with apocalyptic fervour - can be over-analyzed thanks to the camera's intimacy with every curve and angle on her face. Jun 4, 2019 | Rating: 2/5 | Full Review…

Ouch 16% that's beyond dreadful. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be any good but christ.
And this is exactly why it needed to join the MCU. The X-Men series as we know it is dead now.

Well, it surpassed my expectations. Wasn’t expecting it to enter near Fan4stick territory.

It's well-known that Disney has a lot of influence over RT. This looks like a case of Disney making sure that the last X-Men movie gets bad reviews so when MCU makes their 1st X-Men movie, they can say how it great is compared to the last X-Men movie.

GOOD! A ROTTEN end to a very sub-par Fox-Men Series. With some exception of X-Men 2 and Logan, the rest has been forgettable.

So how in the world would Disney have influence over Rotten Tomatoes? And at this point would Disney even need Rotten Tomatoes? Disney has branding to get them by.

Owned by WB and Comcast. And Comcast is ran by Brian Roberts who hated Bob Iger before Bob Iger got Fox away from Comcast. So how in the world would Disney have influence over Rotten Tomatoes? And at this point would Disney even need Rotten Tomatoes? Disney has branding to get them by. They don't have any influence over Rotten Tomatoes at all. Some point to them getting rid of the "Want to See" Percentage as proof that Disney has influence. Now to anyone rational you would see that as a company not wanting to be associated with review bombing. They were trying to distance themselves from the bad publicity of being complicit to trolling. Even if it wasn't trolling (which I think it was) it looked that way. Rotten Tomatoes don't do anything with critical reviews. They just agregate them. Critics produce their review for their website, paper, you tube channel, etc. If they are part of the aggregation on RT then it's added in. Now where Disney/Marvel has some power is access and branding. People have liked Disney/Marvel in the past and like the brand so individual critics might be easier on that brand. It's not some big conspiracy it's just they enjoy what they've produce so they might be easier. With access media you do get into some murky water. If you aren't invited to preview the movies you can't get your review out before the movie opens. Some smaller critics might want to shine there reviews up so they are asked to go to the next opener. If you work for a larger paper, site, or channel this isn't the case. In either of these cases Rotten Tomatoes has nothing to do with the influence.
