Now I perfectly realize that everybody is entitled to their own feelings and opinions.
Having said that....
To me, "STAR WARS" Fans boycotting "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" just because they hated what happened in "THE LAST JEDI" (I know a Majority of them did like "THE FORCE AWAKENS") is just like being on a ship out in the middle of the ocean and then suddenly abandoning it just because it is raining.
That is just how I myself feel about it.

I won't be going to see it and will never watch it.
Having said that I wouldn't consider it a "boycott" as such, I just don't care anymore. Didn't see Solo either but that wasn't a boycott either, wasn't interested in seeing that storyline being milked even before TLJ came out.
Question for Disney though will be - how many people did actually purposefully boycott Solo rather than just gave up? And will it have any real effect on TRS' box office? I'd suspect probably not...

Anthony created another thread with the same subject over on Film General. I've had a lot to say over there, and I won't repeat myself here. But I do want to add something here, in response to Midi-Chlorian_Count 's question, "will it have any real effect on TRS' box office?" I suspect, based on what's happening with the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge crowds, that TROS will have a big opening weekend and then a large second week drop, similar to TLJ. Whether you want to call it a boycott, apathy, or disinterest, TLJ backlash will have an effect on TROS' box office.
