You saying when he has a heart to heart talk with his dead mom, then finds out he is still worthy by calling the hammer to him is not sadly touching? The guy has been through the shit.
A heart to heart talk with his mum is sadly overshadowed because he was a joke so the set up is weak.
there is a similar scene from DOFP. when xavier had a heart to heart talk with his future self, the only difference is we buy that xavier is depressed and needs to be inspired, we don't buy it with thor because he is a joke for the most part. also, the avengers are too busy enjoying their so called time travel heist adventure where its more fun than real stakes.
fat thor fails to compare to this similar movie. there is set up here because xavier's character creates the tone for it. thor being a clone hurts the tone.
its called mature writing that Endgame is so needing off. Endgame only works as a kids movie.
You see a "political message"...most proabably see characters with human traits, characteristics and weaknesses...its what famously differentiated Marvel Comics from DC comics since the 60s.
Yeah but John Buscema did not make them look like wimps, and Marvel said it's action scenes were uniquely exciting.
A super hero---"super" it means superior, greater, over, more than ordinary. Thus the contradiction.
A guy fat from depression is a contradiction.
