To add to my above post, I also find it weird when fans try and brag about championships that happened long before they ever became fans. You mean like WarrenPeace bragging about the Packers and those "NFL Championships" from the 1930s? Well, there are two sides to that. For instance, when I brag about the Celtics being the greatest team in NBA history, I'm including all 17 championships in my bragging. I personally only saw 4 of those, but if you're bragging about your team you can absolutely point to all championships that particular team has won. Now when you talk about titles that you have seen, you can't bring up one from 30 years before you were born. You, as a Braves fan, can sure as shit gloat about 1995, the Braves won the whole enchilada. You just can't claim it as one that you personally saw.

If I wasn't there to root for it than I don't feel like I can claim it. Glad the Braves won in 95, sadly was before my time as a fan so it feels dishonest.

I've got my A's 1990 WS. Giants 3 WS in the 2010s Niners 5 Super bowls Warriors 3 championships I was a Raiders fan too when I was young so I had a Stabler SB and 2 Plunket SBs but I'm not a fan of them anymore But all my teams have won championships now, so I'm good. Was in the Bay area 22 years ('79 to '01). Went to more Sharks games than anything, rooted for the TMC Warriors and the current 3-title Warriors (still a fan). Liked the SF Giants, Joe Morgan era before Bonds, and in the 2010s (3 Titles). But was not a fan of the Niners, hated the Raiders, and the As were meh. Latched on to the Devils (3 Titles) when they arrived and hadn't stopped rooting for the NY Giants since the Parcells days (3 Titles). Never liked the Jets, Mets only in 1967, and the Yankees I hated then was just ok with in the Jeter era. Like em more now. Never liked the Knicks, liked the Nets in NJ (Petrovic). The 82 Giants had a shot. Frank Robinson was a very underrated manager.
