So last night I had a very vivid, very weird dream about arm wrestling Paul Newman. I mean, this one was strange. It was 70s era Paul Newman in all his charming glory, and we were arm wrestling in front of a bunch of people. He beat me right-handed, but I'm left-handed so he let me arm wrestle him that way. It was pretty even, but then the dream ended.
Wild stuff, and as I type this I am now wondering if there are any gay connotations involved in this, but whatever. That's my issue.
Anyways, have any of you ever had any real memorable dreams involving actors, actresses, or movies that you love? Real vivid ones that have stuck with you over time?

Some days ago I had a very interesting dream:
I was at the movie theatre with some friends. I can’t remember what movie we were watching but after a while somehow it turned into an actual theatre with a live performance on stage. And the scenery just kept changing and eventually we ended up in the open in a town square and there were people in period clothing wearing wigs performing some classic play. There was this really pretty girl in the audience who seemed vaguely familiar to me and we started talking and I invited her for a drink. And as we were sitting there sipping our coffees I realized that she was the actress Ana De Armas, and weirdly in my dream I became really nervous that I was talking to a celebrity. I would’ve loved to spend more time with her but unfortunately I woke up before we could get to know each other better.

Most of my dreams about actresses, at least the most vivid and memorable, are sexual ones.

Most sexual dreams I have involve old girlfriends or girls I know that I wouldn't mind having fun with.

Most of my dreams involving actresses i think are very attractive rarely involve the 'act' dammit....just kissing or moreso just hanging out.
0ver the years i've had plenty of hot, no-contact dates with Maggie Q, Summer Glau, Grace Park, all of Warpaint, Maggie Siff, Jenny Agutter, Mary Steenbergen and Andie McDowell .....but i DiD have a steamy couple of sordid nights with Heather Graham just after her Austin Powers appearance in hot-pants.

I can`t remember ever to had a dream about a movie, but i have had dreams about being in a tv show. I have had dreams where i am in Charmed, Doctor Who and Criminal Minds. I did have a strange dream once where i smuggled Michael J. Fox out of Communist Bulgaria into Turkey over the Black Sea during the 1980s. And than i had sex with his wife Tracy Pollan in the fishing boat on the way over to Turkey.

Oddly enough I had a dream once where I met character actor David Morse. Nothing interesting happened, I just kind of bumped into him and acknowledged he was David Morse in a matter of fact tone. Even in my dreams I'm the world's most boring human.

No my dreams are just weird. I dreamed I was struggling to do fractions in school and the teacher was Greg Kinnear and he was getting pissed off (I had a teacher in the fourth grade who looked like John Saxon and I had to stay after school because I couldn't figure out fractions--chilling to be forced to stay after school).
I also had a dream I was in a tour group and we were stopping in a mall food court and had to fill out a survey and Jack Nicholson was filling one out at the table next to me.

If you don't mind me asking, Do any of your old girlfriends know about that ?

I've had plenty of dreams about a post zombie apocalypse over the years, I watched too many zombie films in the late 80s and 90s. That and a post nuclear apocalypse as well. I'm always one of the survivors (of course) but the dreams always end up badly. They are usually odd ball mashups of various films of the genres.
One of them had Michael Caine (circa his Get Carter era) in it within my survival party. That was pretty memorable, he had a shotgun.

LOL, You should see some of my own dreams.
In a majority of them, Absolutely Nothing happens.

Just last night I had this dream:
I am at a small, independent movie theater (not the one I went to in real life over the weekend, though!), watching the Shining sequel that recently came out (which IRL I wanted to see but didn’t get a chance to).
I and the people I’m with get in late. As we come in, in the movie a grown-up Danny Torrance is back at the Overlook and going into Rm. 237, but when he enters the room it flips upside down and sideways and all other kinds of un-Shining-esque things. For some reason I decide that’s a good time to get popcorn, so I leave the theater room and go to the concessions counter, which is staffed by an elderly man whose hands are trembling. I ask for a small popcorn, he gives it to me, but he puts on so much butter that the bag is leaking.
He then says in this theater he brings the popcorn to the patron’s seat, so he hobbles around the counter, but I tell him not to worry and that I’ll bring it to the seat myself. Which I do, except now it’s leaking butter all over me!
Finally I get back in, except that people in Halloween costumes are walking around the theater while people are watching the movie, probably as a weird William Castle-style gimmick, which I think is a terrible idea.
Then I woke up.

You are lucky that you are able to remember that much of your dream.

Heh, thanks. I was writing furiously so that I wouldn’t forget any of it. Unlike many of my dreams, this one wasn’t too mystifying: I went to the movies this past weekend, though to see Knives Out, not the Shining sequel.

Being a horror fan, I have not surprisingly had dream run ins with a number of horror characters. Those I remember: Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, The Thing (1981), and King Kong. A particularly vivid one was The Blob, I used to have a job where I worked with liquid nitrogen and in the dream I was at work holding off an attack by the Blob with a hose shooting pressurized liquid nitrogen while the blob occasionally picked off a co-worker. I have yet to have a dream I remember about any of my favorite Universal monsters, but I keep hoping.

How was "KNIVES OUT" ?
I know that it has a Good Cast and was made by the same guy who made "THE LAST JEDI" (Rian Johnson).
