The 'Get Up' crew on ESPN (Mike Greenberg & Co.) destroyed Clowney yesterday stating it was targeting and a dirty hit. One of the panelist (former NFL player - name escapes me right now) stated for somebody Clowney's size - he purposely had to contort his body to hit Wentz like that and aimed with his helmet. Ertz and Jason Peters both came out after the game and stated they thought it was dirty as well. Is what it is - just a shame it happened. Think Wentz went out with like 9 minutes left in the 1st quarter - may have been a different outcome with Wentz in there - but that's football.

It's a shame for Wentz, it was nice for McCown, it affected the game. You could argue that it could be a penalty based on the way they've officiated similar plays in the past, but to say it was dirty or intentional or that he had to bizarrely contort his body to make the hit like that is ridiculous and some people are really coming off as just being bitter and not thinking about what they're saying.

“Worst fans in the world? Hilarious. They are actually the best fans in the world. I feel that they would be even better if they were not drunk.”
