IMO I think things will return to normal around mid April/May , travel bans will still be imposed I believe until late August

It may become an endemic thing like the flu. Not sure if it will be seasonal like the flu, or just a year-round thing. As some have points out, the Southern Hemisphere is still in summertime, and that doesn't seem to have slowed down Covid-19 there.

The medical experts have said that it is much more contagious and much more deadly than flu . I think the Chinese doctor who warned his government about it did so in December last year , but was little heeded at the time , until it became obvious that the local population were in an epidemic crisis . Dr Li Wenliang has since died from the virus . At the moment there is no cure for Covid-19 . Medical researchers are working on a vaccine , but it probably won't be available publicly until 2021 . If left to spread , it may take a year or two to envelope the world's population . Medically there seems to be no protection from it , other than limiting contact . So far , it seems the survivors have occasional relapses too .

It will subside after it has run it's course. Hot weather this summer may have an effect on it. Next winter will probably be bad. Experts say it will most likely be back.

China tried shutting everything down and its nearly killed their economy they finally conceded that high death toll was a risk theyd have to take they are set to open their theatres and everything soon , U.S. will most likely have to go on with back to normal as well

But we all have to take it seriously. No congregating in large crowds. Wash your hands more regularly. Clean surfaces. Wear gloves. Try not to touch your face. If you're sick stay home or go to the emergency room. They're the only ones really equipped to do anything for you anyway. Be careful and be responsible.

I'm hoping it will go away like the flu.

July is my gut. The Asian Pacific Rim will hopefully see positive numbers by May. Trump's America is going to have a slog of it though. It's not if Americans will get it, it's when you do & how many millions. Those aren't death sentences though, which is what scary idiots would have you believe. Millions will get it, worse than a flu, & then back to normal. Bright side, a Canadian team has isolated it...

It will be milked for all its worth, until something else comes along to take the headlines. That is right. In the US it should die down in a month or so when the Yanks get stuck into deciding which geriatric to elect as President. As for the rest of us I dunno. Maybe if Harry comes out as gay or Meghan gets preggers by Boris Johnson. The trouble is that we live in a quiet world and have to take our crisis, however low calorie, where we can find them.

I work at a job where I have to spend half the day interacting with the public, and cant hide in the back room all day. So I'm with you.
But it might come to it that we have to choose: Job to pay bills, OR, life! I choose life.

Once enough people catch it even get over it, the death tolls from it will largely decline and will be pretty much like a standard flu and no one really pays much attention to those. so eventually it will largely play itself out etc as it's basically just a more souped-up flu is all it is.
to think otherwise is to buy into the mainstream media's fear-mongering.
