Do you frequently suffer from it? How do you deal with it?

Take a nap. Or if it's accompanied by nausea, Catman takes a little Sumatriptan.

Anything that thins the blood should work. I'm on a blood thinner for a medical Reason and I have no more headaches.

Mostly when I try to quit caffeine, which is why I've not been able to quit entirely.

Yes aj!!
I have headaches from allergies, poor air quality, weather fronts, etc.
Probably 20 per month!
I use a generic excedrin . the caffeine helps a lot!
Do you get many headaches?

Excedrin.
That's just Tylenol, aspirin and caffeine.
If you see a doctor, you can get a Rx for something like Fioricet which is Butalbital which also has Tylenol and caffeine in it.
Barring anything else, you could always just take the same OTC meds with a strong cup of coffee which constricts the blood vessels. Headaches happen when your blood vessels dilate, and caffeine helps to constrict them, reducing pressure. The aspirin works by thinning the blood.
For me personally, if I'm getting a sinus headache, I take a decongestant.
*DISCLAIMER* I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND AM NOT GIVING MEDICAL ADVICE. I AM JUST SHARING WHAT WORKS FOR ME PERSONALLY.
Edit: There are many causes of headaches or migraines, so if you get them often, best to check with your PCP, neurologist, ophthalmologist, (etc) and just get things checked out.

Catman is not a doctor, nor does he play one on TV.

Catman is not a doctor, nor does he play one on TV. But he would indeed make a cute one with a stethoscope around his little ears.

It depends on the severity of the headache, but I often redirect the pain by pinching the area between my thumb and finger (often accompanied with mindful breathing). It also helps me deal with nausea.

It depends on the severity of the headache, but I often redirect the pain by pinching the area between my thumb and finger (often accompanied with mindful breathing). It also helps me deal with nausea. That's a trigger point for Chinese acupuncture or acupressure. I LOVED getting needles in the thumb web. Had to be a very precise spot. But if you're using pressure, just dig around, and try to get far up close to the actual juncture where the joint is between the thumb and index finger then come forward a little big. You should actually feel it when you hit the trigger point. It'll feel like a "good pain" when you squeeze. Do both sides. I do the left side more because my left side is more affected, but definitely squeeze both, massage both points for several minutes. I even think they make devices that will "pinch" the trigger point. This works. There's also one on the wrist.

Have you tried a shot of bourbon? Or, maybe a bloody mary.

Have you tried a shot of bourbon? Or, maybe a bloody mary. That seems like it would make a headache even worse.

Joanna - I guess if you have a headache you can't get rid of, you may as well enjoy it.

Do you frequently suffer from it? How do you deal with it? Yes. I get massive ones. Usually take 2 Tylonols & then lie down.

rarely. Used to have migraines in my 30's and early 40's. Prescribed medication.
Headaches I do get now are usually weather-related/allergy. I usually take Alene (naprozpxen).

Have you tried a shot of bourbon? Or, maybe a bloody mary. Posters are questioning your advice Petro But I think if you keep drinking, not just one shot, you might be on to something.

I'm fortunate that headaches are rare for me. But, my Mom used to say that if 2 aspirin and a cup of black coffee didn't relieve them, nothing would.

Yes, I have frequent headaches Enigma but it is mostly because I have sleep problems. Whenever my sleep pattern gets disturbed (which happens very often) I have to wake up with extreme headache. It used to be worst in 2018 but it's still something that I classify as big problem of my life. Earlier nothing used to work. Now a days I take Crocin Pain Relief tablets which have both Paracetamol and Caffeine Anhydrous. It works better although just paracetamol doesn't work.
