Nothing that I have ever posted, contradicts Sacred Scripture. Anyhow, you are supposedly an atheist now. So obviously you do not even believe the Bible anymore, do you? Whether I believe in the Bible or not isn’t the point. I “know” what it says, and apparently you don’t. But this is not surprising. Atheists know more about Christianity than Catholics I know what the Bible says. I've been reading the Bible since I was a kid. So much for the myth that we Catholics do not read the Bible.

Doesn't stop some of them from taking verses entirely out of context, or failing to apply basic rational thought to them, like the so called dirty water story that 'proves the Bible supports abortion'.

If the eternal fire was "prepared for the devil and his angels" then who else but God would have prepared it for them when we are also told He created everything? Their mum? If I create a fire for the BBQ don't I have to prepare it? I don't think you are serious with this or just being wilfully dense. Here's some Christian speculation end expansion on this point to help you out : "God likely created this eternal fire sometime between the rebellion of Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:15-16) and his angels against God and His arrangement of the present universe that we physically inhabit (Genesis 1:3-31). ... if [some people] never believe in Jesus as the Divine King, they will go away to a place never prepared for human beings. This inhospitable place is the eternal lake of fire prepared for the devil and his fallen angels." thebiblesays.com/commentary/matt/matt-25/matthew-2541/ All it said was that hell was prepared for the devil & his angels. Didn't say that God Did it. Here's that question again as you seemed to have missed it: if the eternal fire was as the Bible says "prepared for the devil and his angels" then who else but God would have prepared it for them when we are also told He created everything? One also reiterates that the Bible commentary I quoted disagrees with you too - something else oddly not addressed by you..

One Bible to follow this suggestion is the New International Version, that hotbed of atheism. Other agreeing commentaries can easily be found including those from Christian theologians. But quite why you are dragging this in here is known only to you. Given Clusium's refusal to accept the clear words of scripture and findings of biblical commentary in this thread so far, instead preferring his own eccentric interpretation and the words of an exorcist (who oddly did not consider supposed demons or whatevers might lie to him!), you would do better to address issues of 'basic rational thought' to him...

They chose to go out Of His Presence, & made it torture for themselves.

He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing. Proverbs 29:1

It's amazing how atheists want that one specific translation to be the 'true' one because it says what they want to hear, where most suggest dirty water, with no explanation of how, just that it can detect infidelity, is going to make a woman's thigh/leg rot. Even back then nobody was stupid enough to believe the baby was housed in the thigh.

As already pointed out, it is not just some atheists claim this but some Christians too. But, given the irrelevance to this thread .. whatever. As for an interpretation being the 'true' one because it says what they want to hear, in the light of recent exchanges with Clusium, I can only enjoy the irony.

I know what the Bible says. I've been reading the Bible since I was a kid. So much for the myth that we Catholics do not read the Bible. Oh, I see…so you just IGNORE it then. 😏

No, I follow what it says. Except Matthew 25:41 and Isaiah 45:7 apparently… I follow those. Chapter 25 teaches that we must be charitable towards others to avoid Hell. God Gave us free will, hence, the fact that He Creates both prosperity & disaster.
