There have been constant back and forths between DC and Marvel fans on IMDB. This stuff isn't "payback", it's a bunch of people being spiteful towards each other over movies based on comic books. It's getting ridiculous. Making threads like this doesn't accomplish anything. It's not payback, it's just petty. It would be like if I bragged about how WW was the biggest domestic hit of the Summer and had better legs than anything in the MCU. Sure, other posters like DC-Fan might do dumb stuff like that, but that doesn't make threads like this come across as any less petty. To be fair, DC fans did start the movie wars when the TDK trilogy came out. Back then DC fans, or rather nolanites, were attacking every major film franchise. The MCU didn't have bragging rights back then and was used by nolanites as a punching bag for insults. It wasn't till the Avengers came out that MCU fans started fighting back. Actually, it was MCU fans who started the movie wars right after Iron Man was released in 2008.

So are the upcoming DCEU films with no release dates canceled? Like Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, and Man of Steel 2?

4 years in and the DCEU's already fallen apart. Heh. Whereas the MCU turns 10 and successfully reaches the finale of its first big storyarc next year. What was that about the MCU Being the inferior brand, Snyder brats? Hmm? Where's all the smugness now? That is two. Count it, two. Attempts at starting a DC Cinematic Universe gone pear-shaped in just six years. First was the Green Lantern film, which sucked and flopped. And now the DCEU is such a mess that Warner Bros has just giving up. Sucks to be you, DC fans. HA! Don't get all superior and looking down your nose at the competition until you've actually won the war. Oh, wait, you actually lost the war the instant a film starring Batman and Superman and featuring Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg got its little ass kicked by Captain America: Civil War. See you around, losers. wait for Justice League to declare that. WB takes risks, better than cookie-cutter Disney films. What risks?

I think you've just more or less proven that you yourself are a troll who is no better than the likes of DC-Fan or DennisReynolds. I wasn't on "classic" IMDb long enough to know how deep or personal the enmity runs between DC and Marvel film fans. So therefore, I'll assume it's natural that it turns you into a vindictive son of a bitch. I was a member on the original IMDB Boards and the extreme Marvel fans destroyed the 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' board and spent every day attacking anybody who dared to say they liked the movie. I stopped writing on there 'cause of all the fights they were causing and talked to a lot of members on superhero TV show boards that didn't write on the board for the same reason. The funny thing was they were doing it for MONTHS before the movie even came out and did the exact same thing on the 'Man of Steel' board and when they complain about the DCEU having a 'darker' Superman now the same members were criticising 'Superman Returns' before 'Man of Steel' came out and were saying it was going to be a cheesefest. These two members were by far the worst.Along with their friend Skekisgirl whose profile you will find on the IMDB Archive. They literally spent 24 hours a day attacking DC fans and starting call out threads to cause fights. I am pretty sure both of them are on here under new names. Archie is most likely Dteam6 and OdumC is WeirdRaptor or King Kong Bundy and our very own, Furious-Styles77 was on there too. Sadly for these extreme fans what goes on the internet stays on the internet and for all the 'Wonder Woman' haters who try to deny there weren't hundreds of sexist guys who were dead against the movie from day one, throwing tantrums over a female superhero being made and claiming it was some evil feminist agenda forcing female superhero movies on them and saying Wonder Woman was going to be the biggest flop ever 'cause it had a female lead and the end of the DCEU you can find thousands of their threads on the IMDB Archive too.

And we then called you "Darth Eproctophilius", lol! Good times!
I guess this mental brainfart of yours really got you aroused then, Darth Eproctophilius. I am just glad that digital posts cannot physically stink, and that in the end you are always wrong....

So what exactly happened? Are there going to be non-DCEU DC movies?
If that's the case I personally couldn't give a shit as long as we get some good movies out of it. Reboot, remake, re-start...I don't care if the result is worth seeing

But it's not clear yet how the DC universes will interact, but it may be that The Batman and The Joker films open a new Bat universe within the DC multiverse (DCAC, DCEU, DC Shows etc). This would include movies about all Bat members with new Joker/Bats actors presumably.
Maybe DC is a little bit overambitious in view of the recent WW triumph an the fact that even the dreck movies like SS made big money.
Let's wait and see until the facts and movies arrive...

I can understand DC gaining some confidence after WW success, and unless it is a total disaster Justice League will be a success (I mean Suicide Squad was ffs). These films are pretty much critic proof (look at Transformers for example). But I think their big test will be Aquaman. Decide where to go after that.

If JL is as bad as SS, they will only have to insert songs for the entire run and jokes like with SS: Guaranteed mega success, will probably make more money than a good JL film!
Aquaman I have not the faintest idea how they will pull that off, in doubt via the saving formula just discussed...

If he steels JL the way Wonder Woman stole BvS they should be OK (though personally I usually find underwater movies a bit dull..and I'm sure a good amount of Aquaman wil be).

Hardly, the only potential risk they took was Wonder Woman and that wasn't much of a risk.

Well....it did. Like I said, it propelled the film onto some kind of untouchable pedestal and if you critique the film you're shot down because apparently no one is allowed to do that. You are so delusional. Brandon Lee's death in the midst of filming The Crow didn't automatically make it a classic. The Dark Knight is highly rated on every major critic compiling website. It made over $1 billion at the Box Office. Audiences (the true "everyman" fan) love the movie far more than critics, and that's really saying something. One man who dies tragically cannot do all of that by himself. I'm not going to lie, Nolan has yet to make a movie I don't like. I would say that at least 3 of his movies are classics. Yet I acknowledge his flaws and I understand his shortcomings. He's not perfect. He just really struck gold with The Dark Knight. Even if you hate it, you can't deny the success that it has sustained in conversation and overall praise for 9 years now. The Crow didn't have the Nolan hype machine. And Lee's death wasn't exploited the way Ledgers' was. So yeah, one cast member dying tragically DOES do that.

Which was merely retaliation for what DC fans did to every MCU film. I looked at the MCU boards and the boards for other comic book movies and TV shows like the Crow, Spawn, the Mask, Hellboy, Men In Black, Witchblade, Painkiller Jane, Dark Matter, Wynonna Earp etc and none of them were anywhere near as bad as the 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' board was. What members like Dteam6 did was take things to a whole new level of insanity with posts literally every single hour of the day in their profiles. Going without sleep, without a job and without a life to spend all that time putting down one film is not relation for some fans not liking the MCU. That is insane and I hope some of those members are seeing therapists now for their own sanity and the sanity of their parents who were most likely paying for them to live on their computers all day and night. I mean I wish I could say I was kidding about that. I am not. There were at least 4-5 posts every hour of every single day non-stop. .

Yeah, because the fans of those shows and movies didn't go out of their way to harass Marvel fans the way DC fans did. Two wrongs don't make a right and giving up your whole life to spend 24/7 on a computer putting down a movie and attacking fans 'cause some put down other movies is not getting those fans back at all and is just giving up your life for them. I knew a number of members who were regulars on other boards who would just randomly write a post on the 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' board saying they liked the movie and were attacked for it and didn't go back to it after that. I wasn't a huge fan of 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.' I didn't like their version of Doomsday and felt they wasted the character. Doomsday is real alien in the comic books and he actually talks and has a personality. I am not sure if you have heard of the ‘Kingdom Come’ series but when Superman is killed by Gog Doomsday becomes a hero and he takes Superman’s place and saves people and fights alongside the other heroes. Even though I think Doomsday was a big letdown in ‘Smallville’ ‘cause they couldn’t afford to have him in the Doomsday form more and they had the whole split Davis Bloom/Doomsday thing going I liked how they gave him a human form ‘cause it allowed him to walk around in the day without having to hide underground but I think the best way to do it would have been to have him fully aware of who he was and could transform in to the Doomsday form anytime he wanted to ‘cause that would have made him more dangerous and they could have said he was the son of Zod and had come to get revenge on Superman for killing his Father but they made him some creation by Lex Luthor.
With that being said I didn't like 'Captain America: Civil War' either. I didn't like the fact Marvel left out Ms Marvel, Spider Woman and She Hulk and other female superheroes (which was mostly Ike's fault as noted before) and felt it was lacking a good villain but I realise some people like 'Batman vs Superman' and 'Civil War' and believe they are entitled to their opinions and find it pointless fighting over what one was better.

I mostly agree with you, I just can't help but appreciate that the current state of the DCEU has humbled the DC fans considerably compared to how they used to act.

It's more like RC cola being pissed off that Coke is dominating the market, and they show up at Coke's year end employee picnic, all the Coke fans are happy to be working with Coke, and RC is just hanging about, double dipping the chips, and trying to tell everybody how awesome RC is. The Coke fans aren't being vindictive, they're just basically swatting flies.
