For what it's worth, I would kind of miss you. I mostly do not understand what you are talking about, nor do we share common taste in films. But you are funny and I always imagine you as a stoned laughing hippy dude.

I was on IMDB before BvS was released. There was trolling on both sides. The BvS board was a very toxic place to be on, and part of that was because of all the people who claimed to be Marvel fans that were saying things like "LOL! MAN OF STEEL SUCKSZ!" Also, you really need to drop this whole "people only liked TDK because Heath Ledger died" argument. Not only is it demeaning to Heath Ledger's memory, but it also completely ignores the fact that the movie is still held in high regard to this day, despite Heath Ledger having died almost 10 years ago. Look, you can't deny that his death played a major role in the films' success and legacy. It made it pretty much "Bad taste" to speak badly of the movie because apparently by doing so you were insulting Ledger (you're not), and overreliance on Nolan's way is why DC is in such a mess right now. The film still held in high regard? Some people are still reluctant to "speak badly" of Ledger. omg, you're a broken fucking record. Why don't people say Star Trek 3 whatever its name was got stellar reviews? Because you know, Anton Yelchin is in the movie and he died? Why did no one walking out of Fast 7 said: omg, what a brilliant performance from Paul Walker? You can hate TDK but don't try to convince somebody that Ledger's Joker was not a great performance

The F&F series wasn't as hyped up as Nolan's movies were either. I still think Nicholson was better.

Yeah, flaming started by DC fans. Because at the time Ironman came out MCU had no other movies. Ironman came out and Marvel fans were joyous but then nolanites came to the IM boards to bash IM. Then TDK came shortly after and nolanites exploded even more. You can complain about MCU fans all you want but fact of the matter is MCU fans only ever argued with DC fans and Foxverse and Sony fans. DC during the time of TDK trilogy waged war on every major fanbase including Twilight fans, LOTR fans, StarWars fans, etc. They even made death threats. No, the flaming was started by MCU fans in 2008 right after Iron Man was released. MCU fans swarmed to the TDK boards to bash TDK. Nolanites swarmed the IM boards before the movie got released. This all happened before TDK. In comparison, there were very very few marvel fans badmouthing Batman Begins when it came out. Back then there weren't even a lot of Marvel movie fans, just some of your hardcore comic fans and maybe some left over Raimi Spiderman fans. But at the time of Batman Begins, there weren't really any big groups of Marvel movie fans around to even harass the IMDB board of Batman Begins. And that's why this current MCU vs. DC movie argument can be traced back mostly to nolanites. Because the first mass flaming ever done by either MCU or DC fans over a movie can be traced back to nolanites flaming the Ironman board.

Well....it did. Like I said, it propelled the film onto some kind of untouchable pedestal and if you critique the film you're shot down because apparently no one is allowed to do that. You are so delusional. Brandon Lee's death in the midst of filming The Crow didn't automatically make it a classic. The Dark Knight is highly rated on every major critic compiling website. It made over $1 billion at the Box Office. Audiences (the true "everyman" fan) love the movie far more than critics, and that's really saying something. One man who dies tragically cannot do all of that by himself. formersamhmd just likes exploiting Ledger's death by trying to use that as an excuse for why The Dark Knight was such a huge success and why Ledger won an Oscar. What formersamhmd is doing, continuing to exploit Ledger's death 9 years later, is just despicable and something only an MCU fan would do.

4 years in and the DCEU's already fallen apart. Heh. Whereas the MCU turns 10 and successfully reaches the finale of its first big storyarc next year. What was that about the MCU Being the inferior brand, Snyder brats? Hmm? Where's all the smugness now? That is two. Count it, two. Attempts at starting a DC Cinematic Universe gone pear-shaped in just six years. First was the Green Lantern film, which sucked and flopped. And now the DCEU is such a mess that Warner Bros has just giving up. Sucks to be you, DC fans. HA! Don't get all superior and looking down your nose at the competition until you've actually won the war. Oh, wait, you actually lost the war the instant a film starring Batman and Superman and featuring Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg got its little ass kicked by Captain America: Civil War. See you around, losers. But WHY do you post this here?! WHY? Its as if you want to start shit! I just don't get it. I don't go to MCU boards and talk shit about it. Why do you come to DC boards to talk shit about DC? You're a trouble maker. You're intentionally stirring the pot. That makes you a jerk of the highest order. If you hate the DCEU so much stay out of the DCEU boards! Its that simple. Go away!

It wouldn't be so bad if every single MCU CBM didn't get the stink eye before it premiered and turned out to be good, while DC doesn't seem to have that problem and the movies are seen as automatically good UNTIL they come out.
