What a match going on here.......still not clear who would win.
WI need 59 of 34 balls with 4 wickets in hand.

Will they at least show the WC live on free TV?

Rashid takes 4 wickets in 5 balls for England - it's all over!

Rashid takes 3 wickets in 4 balls for England - it's all over! Yeah England gets it but Windies looked set to get it before those 3 wickets. I guess Windies are going to make some noise in the coming WC. Congrats to both Windies and England fans on a great run fest. yeah, the wicket was flat so not the best of cricket but both sides made up for poor wicket by putting a great effort.

Seddon Park Test Match
I'd back myself to get 50 against Bangers on that pitch...
Domestically, my beloved Bears sign a convict and I'm delighted - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/47417253

Domestically, my beloved Bears sign a convict and I'm delighted - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/47417253 Yeah, 6/715 isn’t a great advert for bat/ball balance. That being said, of all the cricketing nations, New Zealand are the best at producing genuine Test Match pitches that give all skill sets a chance. in other news, India lost a T20 series against Australia 2-0 somehow. Today is the first ODI and Australia are 2 for 90 oddafter 23 overs. And, in a battle between the 2 newest test nations, Afghanistan and their legion of limited overs specialist spinners are giving Ireland a bit of a touch up. As for the “convict” - Ashton Agar is arguably the most underwhelming talent in Australia over the last few years. Given what he showed as a teen, he’s actually gone backwards as a bowler, and his batting is about the same.....

But I suspect Australia played I really well to win. I didn't even know that an ODI game was going on between them till I saw your previous post.....wrong timing for these matches I guess or may be we have lost interests in non-icc ODIs.

I think Agar will be ok T20 here in the UK, I really do, and Ian Bell agrees, so up yours Bob
The only thing that has stood out for me with Ireland currently is that Rankin is amongst the wickets.
Low scorer at Hyderabad. Kohli out lets the Aussies in...

What happened in the West Indies ? England keeps making Hosko look like a genius, and Bob and AJ mugs. I don’t care how dubious a surface may be (I didn’t see it), but all out for 110 odd and then Gayle biffs a 29 ball 77 - sounds like a collective batting failure. England do this in the WC, and it could be good night nurse. Agar - he’s a really talented player Hitchcock. Genuinely. My gripe is that he should be playing India in a green and gold jersey right now, not signing for Warwickshire. He has the talent to be an Australian regular in all 3 formats, and he probably should be. Aus v Ind - stock standard ODI game. Australia will obviously be better at the WC with Smith, Warner, Starc and Hazlewood to come back in. NZ v Bang - 200 run partnership between Mahmudallah and Sarkar for the 5th wicket. No I’ve not heard of them either.....

It's why England will not win the World Cup, it's getting to be a scratched record but prone to collapse is a regular thing, worryingly since Giles has taken over it's even MORE regular! Oh well, at least the spin department might improve...

I do certainly believe Hosko is a genius when it comes to giving right explanations but I am positively certain that Gayle will disappoint in the WC much like Ross Taylor (discounting meaningless innings in matches that somebody else already wins). I wouldn't be too overly concerned with the results of England in the ODI format if I were hitchcockthelegend because this England team is tired and gassed and playing out of the home. Their minds are not in it anymore. They are waiting to be home and looking ahead at the big stage. * Yes, I surely would be concerned about England's Test side and what they might do in the future.

Folks..Living in Australia for past 4 years and in UK for 2 years before that had made me forget what real hot weather could be. It's early March here and it's already feeling so uncomfortable. Good thing that I am not in north as in north you deal with dry heat first and moist heat afterwards. Here in Mumbai it is almost always moist sweaty heat from March to November as I have been told. And I am already feeling exhausted.

Well, that was a good old fashioned close ODI game.....Aus came really close and could have won.
This was the first game of this series that I watched and not disappointed. Although I only saw last 10 overs.

And I am already feeling exhausted. Didn't you experience really hot weather in Australia? It was 50C there a few weeks back. I think the 50C thing happens in the interiors. The worst I faced in Melbourne in the 4 years I stayed was probably 43C. Although my own hometown in north India faces 48C almost every other year so I am used to excruciating heat. But the main thing that separates Indian heat with heat in any major (non-interior) city of Australia is this: In Australian cities like Melbourne it rains practically all-through the year. So even if you witness a lot of heat you are not going to face it for an extended stretch. I did feel the heat in Melbourne for sure but it usually did rain almost every 10 days at any point of the time in a year so the unbearable heat was for a maximum of 3 or 4 days and then it rained and cooled off. In India, it only rains in monsoon. It practically never rains outside of monsoon so there is no relief for months. You are going to face unbearable heat at stretch for months and get exhausted by it. The same degree of heat will become more and more terrible as you continue to face it for an extended time because you are essentially getting drained every day.
