Now I think we may expect to hear murmurs of Portman being interested in returning.

It would be completely pointless though. Why would they do that when it would be simpler and make more sense to just do a Valkyrie or Sif movie?

That's pretty much been contained to the comics.

That's pretty much been contained to the comics. Well... Spiderman HC did seem to have a lot of PC checkboxes ticked. There were some who felt the casting of Heimdall and Valkyrie were driven by political correctness. One could make an argument that they go out of their way to de-sexualize female costumes. Etc. Just remember that the MCU is under Disney.

I remember when Falcon was announced for The Winter Soldier the message boards where plagued with comments like "A black sidekick? Marvel racist!" Or "A BLACK MAN! MARVEL BEEN CUCKED!!!!!!111" You can't win with these assholes.

Calling it now: Thor has a daughter with Jane and she takes up the mantle when she's old enough.

God i hope so! The Thor films are filled with too much toxic masculinity! Plenty of non-toxic masculinity to be found.

This is Brooke Ence. She played one of the Amazons in Wonder Woman and Justice League. Tell me she wouldn't kick ass!

Female Thor is a strongly established character in the comics who actually kicked ass and sold well.
If they cast it right and make a good movie you'll eat it up the same way you do all the other MCU movies.
