Yeah but you're talking about the airport scene, and expecting me to find something wrong with it? If you have a problem with a scene that good, then honestly don't know how you enjoy the films at all. Acting like it's just ME (in all caps) being unreasonable for not listening to your claim that there's something wrong with the airport is more about you having a problem with the airport scene. We're simply not watching the same film, I don't know what to tell you. That scene was absolute perfection.
It wouldn't hurt to watch more movies. you know, other than superhero ones. and you're the definition of unreasonable when anyone has anything to say about MCU. Btw, even with that scene, Civil War is still top 5 MCU for me I watch a lot of different genres actually. Some of my favorites include The Last Emperor, 2001, Dirty Harry, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Lord of the Rings, I'm a huge Bond Fan, The Godfather, all kinds of stuff. I just respect what the MCU has accomplished.
I admit I defend the MCU, because I find most criticisms to be pretty insignificant, or even unreasonable, like suggest the airport scene is anything less than one of the very best scenes in comic film history.

I mean, you do know that plenty of MCU films have been serious right? I don't know what you're worried about. The primary people involved brought us Winter Soldier and Civil War, so I think they've earned the benefit of the doubt. Just relax. It's absurd to think that IW, directed by the duo who has bought us the MCU's two most serious efforts is somehow going to revert to a broad comedic approach for THEE film that will undoubtedly shape the landscape for the entire fourth phase of the project. They couldn't make a comedy out of that even if they wanted to. When I heard the audible "crack" of Thor's skull under Thanos' grip at comic-con, there was hardly anything funny about that. I appreciate the response, but the comic con thing is kind of a spoiler man. Everybody hasn't seen or heard that.

Well, I was hoping Ragnarok to keep in line with the Thor franchise, which is my 2nd most liked (until Ragnarok) behind Captain America trilogy. I was expecting Thor 3 would build upon the great ending and keep the tone of The Dark World but Ragnarok is so much different it borders on parody (which the theatrical play at beginning basically is) which I was disappointed in. I understand why Disney made Thor 3 similar to Guardian's 1, because people dont like the Thor solo films so using a proven box office winning formula has clearly paid off, but in my view at the expense of consistency. They originally DID make it stone serious, and the test audiences didn't like it. So they edited back in humorous scenes they'd cut out of the first print...and people loved it. So I guess the majority wins here. Would be interesting to see that version I guess it won't be ever released in any format.

My bad, but, in my defense, that description truly pales in comparison to what you will actually see when the trailer comes out. And, what you see at SSDC isn't guaranteed to be in the film.

Both of those statements are true.
Were you actually at SDCC or did you watch one of the bootleg trailers?
