Thanks for the review, President Ackbar™ . I may take break from the Punisher to see a matinée tomorrow morning. Enjoy!(?) A train wreck like this has to be seen with one's own eyes. I'm still genuinely shocked that after years of setup and anticipation from the fans that WB would have the gaul to deliver the anti-Avengers. Hee hee hee...

What a god awful mess. I don't even know where to begin. For starters, it felt like two or three different movie ( poorly ) stitched together. Would it have been better to go with one of the visions? Bad? Good? Does it feel like studio mucking or just a muddy vision? Sounds about right Is that Snyder or Whedon? So the Vision scene from Ultron? So WW wasn't enticement? Potential? WB nearly had Cap.

How do you a goldmine like this go to such levels of shit? It really is unbelievable. The answer is, they don't give a fuck, because they know you'll show up.
Until now, because this film is tanking like crazy.
BTW I'm tired of our hall monitors crock of shit rules, so I might be out of here soon, just FYI. Been fun.
Rules? What rules?

Agreed. Why they ever gave him control of these great characters is beyond me. Because Watchmen and 300.

The cgi scenes ( thousands of parademons, battling cartoon armies, on cardboard islands ) Let's raise Superman... But what if he is evil and unstoppable? Oh well! The actual "resurrection battle scene" was kind of cool. So the Vision scene from Ultron? Madre de Dios. It was the same scene. lol Wow...

Odd was never going to work for DC regular stable of superheros. The DCEU was doomed before it even got out of the gate. Justice League is a franchise killer, like Batman and Robin. Make your money, cut your loses, go into exile, regroup in ten years, and try again.

All they need is all the former DC actors in one movie and make a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie. They should bring in Gerard Christopher as the villain. Bring in a full CGI Superman voiced by Tim Daly.

YES, DEFINITELY Bad? Good? I PREFERED THE LESS CARTOONY SNYDER SCENES Does it feel like studio mucking or just a muddy vision? LIKE TWO DIFFERENT FILMS Sounds about right LOL Is that Snyder or Whedon? NOT SURE, SCENES WERE ALL CGI So the Vision scene from Ultron? I DONT REMEMBER THAT So WW wasn't enticement? Potential? I DONT KNOW, I HAVENT SEEN IT WB nearly had Cap. ANYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THAN THIS

That will be DC's Days of Future Past. The problem though is that it's unnecessary. They can do a tonal reboot without some contrived universe reconstruction. Just make a great stand alone movie for each character, then do a better JL movie that doesn't rely on the previous movies. It doesn't need to be interconnected. And there's no reason to trash the cast.

Great review, Mr. Ackbar!
So basically, going to the theater to see this movie... Is a trap?
I've already decided to simply rent it instead. I think this movie was the last phase of their original vision, which I never really liked aside from WW. Hopefully the next few solo movies will be good- then a new writer/director team can deliver a better JL movie.

So do Aquaman and Flash show any promise? Do you think their solo movies could work based on their performances in JL, or do they dissapoint?
Also, did they by any chance GIVE WW THE PANITES?

I guess AM was kinda cool. Flash was "funny" but also seemed a little "R-word" I have no idea about the solo movies, but I wouldn't exactly hold my breath. No panties, but keep an eye out for the LEATHER PANTS!

Underneath the skirt. She's wearing little blue panties that they like to show a lot. I'd actually like to see that Cyborg/Flash movie they talked about before. It might work like the Green Lantern/Flash episodes of Justice League.

It's too bad, Affleck is good in the role.

They shouldn't though. It would just make things worse. They need to simply move on with really solid solo movies, then attempt another JL stand alone. And if Afleck leaves, just recast... Or dare I suggest, bring Bale back... ?
