But it is a better translation, and given English common usage it moves the onus of temptation away from being God's fault which is more correct in terms of the teachings of the Bible. Are you sure you are not just having a knee jerk reaction because you don't like him and can't think clearly when it comes to his actions? I'm sure that I wouldn't like this even if I liked Francis. How come, it seems that it is a better translation and puts the onus of temptation on us, not the guilt on God, I don't understand why you think that is a bad thing.

I just don't see anything wrong with asking God to lead us in the path of righteousness, and NOT into temptation. Chalk it up to the difference between me and thee, but it seems a little funny coming from you when I remember how ardently you argued for the case that God is ultimately responsible for every evil act that was ever done.

Neither do I but I think the phrasing should be more empowering of us rather than allowing us to forsake responsibility and let God just save us. Sadly you are misinterpreting what I said, I said that ultimately God IS responsible for everything as God is the source, as he created everything in a ultimate sense this means that God is the responsible party for creation and by extension everything in it, this in no way removes culpability from a person for committing acts, God does not control us. Moreover the times I use that argument are not to point out actions, but rather states, it is God's choice that there is evil in the world, it was not Gods choice that Ted Bundy shot that girl. I am sorry that I confused you.

You were doing so well at having a proper conversation, but I guess we hit the Erjen forms coherent statements wall and you had to start insulting people. One wonders what you are doing here if you are not interested in conversation.

When this pope has addressed the reality of Global Warming, Erjen got his knickers all in a twist about it. So now he thinks the pope is some sort of secret illuminati guy. Or freemason, bilderberg - whatever he's frothing over this week.

To ignorant loser Erjenious whose main education is the University of YouTube where he majors in Conspiracy Theory101, I think he is convinced that this Pope is a 'New World Order' Pope. It makes him very confused and fearful.

Remember: Bilderberg ensured Hillary would win the 2016 election. It was all decided beforehand. Super secret forces can't be stopped.
