I am a life long Marvel fan, remember... In Marvel We Trust. I would have quit the MCU cold turkey if Miles was in Civil War, people in America are so self centered that they don't get that around the world no one gives a shit about Miles. Hell, most people in America don't give a crap about Miles. No one I've ever met does, with one exception. And even that one exception doesn't want Miles in his own Spider-Man movies, either. He said he'd be fine with Miles co-Spider-Manning with Pete, but nothing more.

Miles Morales will forever be tainted. Every time he is mentioned there will always be people saying he was just a PC project, and others will be crying racism if he is not part of the coversation. Miles is just bad for business. True. I'm just pointing out there's nothing inherently wrong with the idea. They just bungled the execution completely. I mean, I don't mind some other parallel universes and stuff. But they deliberately created him out of public pressure to be PC, to be "diverse". He is tainted goods.

SJWs do, and they don't even read comics or care about the characters, they just want to shovel "diversity" down people's throats. Like blacklaurette told me in the Fantastic Four IMDb Board, that he didn't care about anything, he just wanted to see more"representation" Disney is not THAT stupid to kill off Marvel that easily, and if Star Wars means anything, is that this so called diversity is bad for business.

There are literally God only knows how other kinds of insects and bugs in the world. He could have been bitten by a radioactive Praying Mantis, instead.

What's wrong with the cast members of the recent Star Wars films? The problem, mon ami is not the characters themselves. But people have loudly complained that they have killed off every character from the old movies and replace them with new ones.
And that other characters are there for no better reason tan to be diverse. Like Finn is just a clown-ish character for example, or that there are no white men in the resistance. The Second Weekend Box office dropped $155M domestically, not a good sign. Back to Miles, he could have been introduced like Silk, but no... they had to make him Spider-man and call you a racist if you didn't love him.

You do realize the original cast members are either in their 60s/70s, or even older, or dead, right? They don't have much of a choice, but to bring in new characters. If the Star Wars sequel trilogy was ever going to star Luke, Leia, and Han are the main characters again, it'd have to have been mad instead of the prequels, because that was the last time any of them were young enough for this. So again, I'm not seeing a problem. There are actually plenty of white people in the Resistance. And Rey, the main character, is white. Yeah, well, I think people are being too bitchy about The Last Jedi. On Miles: fair enough.

Being honest i did like The Last Jedi, not a huge Star Wars fan, so I may not communicate well why Star wars fans have been complaining so much. As for Miles... I'm glad for the Marvel/Fox deal because it sort of prevents Marvel into going all legacy on us. People forget that after all, it is a business.

It's not the races of the characters they have issues with as far as I can tell. It's that they don't agree with the story-telling decisions. I also liked The Last Jedi, and I am a huge Star Wars. Marvel was never going to go legacy on us in on the big screen. The MCU is what's keeping the company alive and the people in charge of their film division seem to know WHY their film series is doing well. They might have introduced Miles, but they were never going to replace Peter in the films, because as far as I can, the plan is to keep the original Spider-Man around for a long, long time.

And they could get it done before that promised DCEU Batman Beyond movie. Marvel would be beating DC to the punch, yet again. Yeah.. not happening. IF the deal is approved by the government, Marvel Studios will use all their efforts into X-Men, F4 and cosmic properties. Riri is really not that popular.Guardians of the Galaxy. Ant-Man. Dr. Strange. Friggin Thor. Make her popular like they did with them.

But see, Riri was just shoehorned in by Bendis, and it is not his best character, let's be honest. Characters like her and Miles to a point were created to propel an idea of diversity, and it turned out more like pandering to be honest. Aside from GoTG and maybe Ant-Man, the oters like Thor and Doctor Strange has big audiences behind them, like Daredevil, The Punisher, and Blade. There is no reason to bring Ironheart into the MCU, she is not needed.

I suspect that when Feigi announced "20 movies" he knew the X-Men, Deadpool and F4 would be coming. Some people suspect that Deadpool would go PG-13, but they forget Disney owns Miramax and films like Pulp Fiction, not to mention shows like The Punisher. And you're right. They have fought for Spidey since before the 2002 move was made, they will use Parker until people are bored of him, so... never?

Well, Holland says he wants to play the role 'til he has gray hair.

He has a 6 picture deal that includes Civil War, Infinity Wars I & II (not fooling us), and 3 Spidey solos. I hope they use him a lot

These things mean nothing, they kill off characters, replace characters, retire characters etc.
They always come back. It's just a sales gimmick. They'll retire him now and then he'll come back with a new comic starting from #1 in time for that animated movie next year.

In Spider-Man Homecoming they pretty much took what made miles unique and gave it to Peter lol.

Don't do it like an X-men movie and bring her in and replace Tony in the same movie. Introduce her in a previous movie and build her up. She would be if Robert Downey is only there for small parts.

I just don't think she's needed. Especially now that Feigi will have a lot more toys to play with, she's nobody compared to X-men, Fantastic 4, not to mention sequels for Black Panther, Doctor Strange... She has no real value and an Ironheart movie is not needed... at all.
