Shouldn't this thread be on the comic book board? But seriously, very few people actually care about Miles Morales.

That black guy Peter webbed to the trunk of his own car? That's Miles Morales' uncle. If he's gone from the comics, they just might change their minds about introducing him into the MCU.

I've got nothing against miles, but i'm glad bendis is gone.
Riri is such a lame character and i hope she never appears in the MCU.

She has few fans and the Ironman comics starring her aren't selling well. If anything, I see Tony becoming the new Nick Fury of the MCU and overseeing a lineup of personally selected individuals to don his iron suits.

That sounds more like he's going his own way and not being Spider-man anymore. It does say that Miles realizes that Spider-man is a Peter thing. Marvel really isn't a big legacy hero company. Every time they attempt it the character is hated or is killed off anyway. I think only villains have been legacy characters. Even then they usually go back to the originals. Maybe they'll just give Miles another spider-based name. Like Silk and Araña. Also, I don't think they are going to get rid of the character. That will not be a good thing with Sony since they are coming out with a Miles movie.

If they do, they will do their own thing with her character. But it would be funny if they got a Riri movie out with Tony being her mentor. That would basically be a Batman Beyond movie.

Let him web-sling in some other town.

And the only reason legacy seems to be enforced is to create "so-called-diversity", more like pandering.

IF the deal is approved by the government, Marvel Studios will use all their efforts into X-Men, F4 and cosmic properties. Riri is really not that popular.

And if they really wanted more "diversity," They could at least have Miles get his powers from a spider with different abilities. Not all of them are traditional "spin big webs to catch flying insects" type spiders. Some can be very, very different from that. And then not kill of Peter Parker and just two very different Spider-Men web-slinging around the Marvel universe.

Every time he is mentioned there will always be people saying he was just a PC project, and others will be crying racism if he is not part of the coversation. Miles is just bad for business.

I would have quit the MCU cold turkey if Miles was in Civil War, people in America are so self centered that they don't get that around the world no one gives a shit about Miles.

I'm just pointing out there's nothing inherently wrong with the idea. They just bungled the execution completely.
