These things mean nothing, they kill off characters, replace characters, retire characters etc. They always come back. It's just a sales gimmick. They'll retire him now and then he'll come back with a new comic starting from #1 in time for that animated movie next year. That's what I'm thinking. They'll change his superhero name and give him a new costume. Bank on people liking Miles Morales for the book to sell.

She can be. Yeah, the X-men and F4 are there, but Iron Man has become that much more popular that people would probably want to see the property still there.

There was always going to be one Spiderman called Peter Parker. In a way, this is kind of sad, Wished they had gotten rid of the current spiderman cartoon....just awful , worse than your average Disney xd cartoons. I will take Morales over that.

The keyword is "Iron Man", as in the portrayal of Robert Downey Jr. If comic book readers haven't bee so kind to Riri I don't imagine movie goers will, in fact THAT is the reason Tony Stark came back in the comics, lack of sales. Ironheart is not important.

Ironheart is not important. And that means what? He's not going to be there forever. Like I said, Iron Man is popular enough that people would still want to see movies about a Iron Man. Even if it is a girl in the suit. And like another thing I said before, Guardians of the Galaxy weren't popular before the movies. Now they are the hottest thing around. That had to do with the movie, not the comic. Maybe they can do the same with other characters people didn't like in the comics. Because they screwed up her character in the comics. If they made her a good character then she would have been at least a little accepted. They tried to make a new character and throw her in like readers already loved her. Or even tried to force people to love the character by telling everyone why they should love her. All they have to do for the movie is make it like Spider-man Homecoming except flip the perspective. Make Riri the cameo and Tony the main character instead. Maybe replace Pepper's 3rd place slot (after Rhodey). I mean, Tony already has this precedent for training a younger person in the use of his gear. Or even finding a suitable replacement. Maybe the comics writers can learn something from whoever writes the movie(s). She can be.

RiRi will only be accepted if they do a complete character rewrite. She's an annoying brat who plays the victim card way too much. Bendis really dropped the ball on that creation.

You don't have to forgive them, but you should at least give Gravity Falls a chance. It was an excellent series.

Or they'll have more than person using Ironman suits, like I suggested before. I think they should go that route to fish for audience reactions to which Ironman suit wearers get the best reception and then focus on the one audiences don't hate. If they do bring in RiRi, I hope they give her her own superhero identity instead of horning in on Tony and Rhodey's territory.

Look, it is clear to everyone the fan base hates her guts and they have plenty of reasons for it. This is the MCU we are talking about, it would be a huge risk to bring her in, and she's just not worth it.

There is no reason for Tony Stark Iron Man or any of the other characters to ever go away. When the actors get too old or quit, just do a James Bond on them and replace the actors.

I remember years ago people saying Marvel Studios was nuts to use characters like Thor, Captain America, and Ant-Man.

That's what I've been saying. Don't make her like the failed version in the comics. Also, I don't think they'll make her character like it is in the comics unless they are going for the Loki type of ongoing villain like I've seen some Youtubers say they should have. Or they are trying to do some kind of power and responsibility arc. But really, why do that with 2 Iron Man characters in the movies. That's just retreading stories. The problem with Rhodey is that he's too much of the straight man. That's why they work well together. For Rhodey to work he needs that person to bounce off of. Make her a Tony-like character, but not exactly like Tony. Someone you can say "Yeah, I can see why Tony picked her."

Thor was too much fantasy-like to work in real life, and so was Ant-Man and Captan America's movies always failed, always. But these are characters people did grw up with and had a fan base. Comic Book readers do not like Riri.

Eh, depending on how long they're going to keep the MCU going. From the universe and world building standpoint it makes sense to retire them.
