Ontologically there can't be. There aren't even four, really. Calling time a dimension promotes a misunderstanding of what time is. It's really just a game you can play with mathematics. Some people have it back-asswards with a belief that stuff you can create by playing games with mathematics--mathematics in general is a sort of game we play--obtains ontologically outside of the game. It's basically "worshipping the game" and making it your reality. I think there is some truth to this. Is it hypothetically possible to be outside of spacetime looking down on the universe like Neil Degrasse Tyson likes to talk about? Neat concept but seems to be taking too many liberties with mathematics, an admittedly great tool but falls short of functioning as some sort of metaphysical truth teller. Don't even get me started on string theory. we can detect & explain only partially the 5% of all the matter and energy that we currently think we know something about. only what exists in our lightcone (moving slower than the speed of light). i would say not knowing about the other 95% - dark matter &dark energy is Statistically Significant. when the big bang occurred, space itself expanded faster than the speed of light. anything that Ever exceeded the speed of light will Forever travel faster than the speed of light. a good place to begin looking for the other 95% of all there is, don't you think? our current best theories-the standard model-only "pencils in" approximations to be useful. the actual magnitudes of "what is missing" is 10(^to the 120th power!)! [just for comparison, the estimated #of protons in the known universe is about 10(^80th power]. Mathematics means something is out there -and Not where we are. reminds me of Lord Kelvin announcing to the scientific community in the early 1900s that everything has been discovered that can be discovered. what is needed is a leap of imagination beyond all we Think is possible. THEN we can reach the stars

SandmanYou really believe that? ; you have been watching too much Matrix. the real truth is... God created everything and basically our choices/actions here on earth determine ultimately whether we end up in Heaven or hell after physical death here on earth.
