What if they brought in Giddy *android Gideon* onto the show that was uploaded with the factory default Gideon AI, we have both in the show for a season and the reveal of the season is that Gideon is infact corrupted and has been for some time, which we only find out by the discrepancies between Gideon & Giddy's behaviour through the season, and when in the end Giddy links up with Gideon and figures out the root behind their differences, which results in Rip getting killed but brought in as the new AI for the ship, we can even have Constantine use magic of some sort to make Giddy more than just an android as a way to ensure Giddy never gets hacked or corrupted like Gideon did by embuing her with a fraction of each member of the teams spirit or soul forming a true consciousness of her own or some other hocus pocus bullshit. I don't know. I just don't think I'm a fan of Gideon in general, though I don't have a good reason why. It's not even strictly her being the catch-all magic fix; and I don't hate her either, exactly. I'd just rather not see more of her, and wouldn't hate it if she wasn't on the show. I definitely didn't care for her and Rip kissing last season, which was just weird. I also don't want to see Rip die, even if he were to come back as an AI. I would still like to believe that somehow his arc will eventually lead him to Booster Gold, and being competent in protecting history; I just don't know how they'd pull that off at this point, or what else I would like him to do on the series. Your idea with an android Gideon reminds me a little of Red Tornado, which wouldn't be a bad story - though his appearance on season 1 of Supergirl left a lot to be desired; and I mean his actual, physical appearance was terrible. As was Indigo and now Brainy....[sigh] Could we find out that Zari is actually an android. That would kind of explain a few things....

I say they kill of E-1 Rip and just introduce E-2 Rip or something that way we can wipe away all of this Rip's idiocy & bs, keep AD as the character, make the character competent at last, but then that only works if AD actually wanted to stick around for a while, also Booster Gold maybe beyond approaching if DC has plans to do a movie about him.
Also I wouldn't hold out much hope for this bunch of ninnies to get their act together, smarter to hope for something that seems feasible with how things are going rather than a longshot that requires them to totally change how they do things, this is how I got what I wanted out of this season which was Wally on the team and Constantine joining next season, here's hoping no.3 hits and Nate fucks off with Amara, though I wish Amara would stay and Nate just died because he bores me and I like her, but they aint working towards that so I will just take solace in Nate fucking off atleast...hopefully.

I could go with "alternate-Rip".
Ditto Nata Amaya, although there's something off about Amaya this season; I liked her last year, but she's been coming off more negative and less likable this season for reason.
I have been curious if AD actually wants all this time off, or if for some reason the writers just feel like having him in fewer episodes. I know last year, at least by some account, the time off was necessary for Broadchurch, but I'm not aware of him doing anything at the moment that would necessitate the shorter episode count (though there could be, I'm not that well versed in what he's doing). It kind of reminds me of Noah Wiley's character on The Librarians, and the way he only appears at the very beginning and end of each season; which has its pros and cons, but mostly annoys me in either account.

Do the writers even have a plan anymore They ever had a plan for LoT? Didn't it have something to do with the ugly guy with the beard and his obsession with Kendra and Rip wanting to get revenge on him for killing his family?

Yeah when I heard about Bryan I lost my fucking shit, so glad he's been cleared as poor dude was not ready to give up his career just yet, but if he gets hurt again I hope he takes it as a sign and retires under his own choice just to be safe, but heres hoping for a HBK level post-retirement return.
And what can I say every year the stars align and my miserable arse looks to the positive, too bad that Jax cant get the totem to become firestorm again but Mick with powers is fine also, loved Constantine lighting his ciggy off of Mick's flame that was just such a fun little moment, same when JC kissed ole Gazza and is why I like the character so much similar to Mick they can have such fun moments at pretty much any moment.
I wonder if they would go the Andromeda route and have both AI Gideon & Android Gideon with slightly different personalities, or maybe make Gideon an Android then have Rip die but keep AD around as the new voice of the Waverider, it would allow for him to be part of the show but not be needed on set as often to allow him to do other projects more easily.
That or as we saw the Waverider has hologram capabilities let Gideon appear as a hologram when talking to the team.
Daniel Bryan returning as a wrestler is something I never expected to see happen in the WWE and you are right about it being similar to Shawn Michael's return to WWE at Summer Slam 2002 against Triple H but unlike Shawn it doesn't look like Daniel Bryan has the same level of ring rust looking at what he was able to do to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on Smackdown and I might be wrong but when you think back Shawn wasn't on the same level he was when he had that match with Triple H and it was when he won the Elimination Chamber match it really felt like he was back at top level and he started calling himself 'The Heartbreak Kid' again. I can see Daniel easily going another 10 years or more like Shawn did before his final match with the Undertaker and I heard there are plans to have Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar this year which was a match that was supposed to happen back when he had the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but had to give it up when he got injured. Daniel Bryan was supposed to get flattened like John Cena did and lose the title as punishment from Triple H and Stephanie but he was expected to win in the rematch. I am going to a bit off topic now but with 'Wrestlemania' coming up wanted to mention it.

Dude have you read A Sound of Thunder? Sending Felicity back to the Jurassic age could start a ripple effect throughout time that could result in a world where humanity evolves to resemble Felicity Smoak!

Sending Felicity back to the Jurassic age could start a ripple effect throughout time that could result in a world where humanity evolves to resemble Felicity Smoak! That would depend on if they didn't eat her first. If she landed somewhere close to them they would most likely eat her and that would be the last we heard of Felicity Smoak. Hardball's idea kinda reminds me of what happened to a character called Kellog in the final episode of 'Continuum' and he was sent back in time and woke up surrounded by Indians who were ready to kill him and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving character.

Can we send Felicity to Legends? No. Definitely no. If they did that the show would be ruined but is sacrificing 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' worth it to fix 'Arrow?'Legends is a B show. Arrow is their main show. Sending Felicity to Legends would be like fixing a broken ship before it sinks and if she gets lost in time shit happens. It's not like anybody is going to miss her.

Oooh, I hope this is sincere, so I can nerd out. So, A Sound of Thunder is a short story by Ray Bradbury, about time travel. The premise goes that this company has invented time travel and uses it for commercial use; in at least one particular instance to provide wealthy game hunters the chance to hunt something extinct and dangerous, like a dinosaur. But, they're very conscientious about not disrupting or altering the timeline; and they have very strict rules and procedures. The animal they're going to kill is one that's targeted moments prior to when and where they were going to die anyway; and if I recall correctly, there was a special walkway (I want to say hovering above the ground) that the hunters must stay on. During one such excursion, this guy gets spooked and leaves the path, and insanity happens (it's been over 20 years since I read it, so some of the details are sketchy) - at any rate, the group returns to the present, but things are slightly off. One difference is that the president isn't the same as when they left; from a noted conversation at the beginning of the story, it's now the other person. One of the men looks under his boot to discover a squished butterfly he had stepped on and dragged back to the present; all of which had the unexpected casscading effect on history.

Doubt it LOT thrives on being a crappy show with idiotic character with too much reverence for their own mediocre abilities...hmm now who sounds like the could be a perfect fix for this group of fuck wits? plus Mick annoying her by trying to make her eat bacon and he whining "but I'm jewish" or her doing her "holiday parties" and Mick telling her it's Christmas so shut up would be tre magnifique.

I love the Bradbury 13 radio adaptation of the story. The film adaptation was absolutely terrible.

I doubt it'll happen, but it would be fun to imagine what Olicity fans' reactions would be like. Agree that LOT was lucky to be renewed. Now that the season is through I have to say it's disappointing. All the buildup for the Mallus and all we got was that? Thinking about it this is probably their worst season.
