David Hasselhoff ate a burger off the floor? Yuck!! When did that happen? I know he is kinda an oddball and does some quirky things but I think he mostly does that to keep his name on the news and I didn't think he would do something so disgusting and unhealthy. Deb I don't think he actually ate the food off of the floor, I think he was drunk and lying or sitting on the floor, I think he was half naked also and just started eating a burger and his kid I think it was filmed it, and they may have been arguing I dunno it was years ago, but I think he was in his home not the streets and so god knows he could have been lying on wood flooring that he cleans or has cleaned regularly, so it wouldn't necessarily be unhealthy even if he had it on the floor. Well, thank God for that ‘cause that is just filthy if he did and I have seen people do some really filthy things over the years like pick their noses and eat it or wipe it on things, eat flies or pull their wings off, eat food they have dropped on the floor in shopping centres, drink alcohol out of smelly shoes (which for some unknown people call an Australian tradition here but is gross!!) and throw poops and we have some very gross people in the world who have no manners at all and it is like they are raised in a gutter.

Also he tries to stay active in the spotlight, like he will do almost anything, he did a regular gig for a season or 2 maybe on a british comedy panel show, where he took part in stupid competitions such as swinging a ball from his crotch to simulate the knocking down of the berlin wall racing against the shows host to see who could do it faster, Hoff "won" because he cheated though, cheating bastard, you can find the clip online, I thtink I posted it on here once butt just google Hoff Celebrity Juice to find some of his antics on that show. I think this is the main reason why he is still so famous 'cause "once famous, always famous" as General Kenobi mentioned is true but only goes so far for many celebrities and you only have to think about how many other famous actors and actresses who were around at the same time David was in 'Knight Rider' that we don't even hear about them anymore and some of them were a lot more famous than him. I mean when was the last time David Soul was on the news headlines 'cause he was very popular when he was in 'Starsky & Hutch' and he also had hits out on the charts with 'Don't Give Up On Us', 'Silver Lady' and 'Going In With My Eyes Open' which are still played on some Classic Rock radio stations every day here but David Hassellhoff doesn't go away and just when you have seen the last of him he does something new to get everybody's attention back.

I think with Hassellhoff a lot of it is nostalgia. Knight rider was watched by a lot of kids, and as adults the fans of the show are still fans of his, no matter what.

You are most likely right and he does a lot to stay on TV and he even appeared on our Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice a few years ago but he didn't stay in the show for very long and had to pull out for personal reasons and some people think it was 'cause he didn't want to get fired 'cause there didn't appear to be anything wrong with him when he went back to America.

Hoff was never going to win Celebrity Apprentice. He was so lazy he was just sitting on his arse most of the time getting everybody else to do things for him. His team were lucky he packed his bags and went back to America or he would have taken them all down with him.

General Kenobi Oh wow. That music video of David Hasselhoff is hilarious and I wouldn't say he is a horrible singer but the video and the way he signs it look really cheesy and I can't stop laughing over it. I have no idea why he is so popular in Germany 'cause some of my favourite bands are German and they are really good but he seems to have this weird appeal that some people love. Bruce Willis is funny when he sings and I wish he broke out into songs more in his movies and made more Comedy Action movies like 'Hudson Hawk.' Some people didn't like that movie 'cause it wasn't a serious Action movie like 'Die Hard' but I liked it and I think it was one of the closest movies he made to 'Moonlighting.'

My brother and you would get along. You can both talk about how Hudson Hawk is an underappreciated gem.

It is still one of my favourite Bruce Willis movies to date and I wish he had made more Action Comedy movies like that or made a 'Moonlighting' movie with Cybill Shepherd instead of making serious Action movies all the time 'cause Bruce Willis can be really funny. Did you know he wrote the script for 'Hudson Hawk' too and have you heard his albums?

Did you hear the rumor that Hudson Hawks budget was so big because Willis demanded they use CGI to bolster his hair line after filming, not surprised it bombed though given it only existed to rub Willis's ego about his singing, I mean when a films done to massage an ego and is made in the vein of their other success's that's fine, but you spend $60m+ just because Willis thinks he can be a singer? well screw you, you deserve to fail.

No. I didn't know that but it explains why his hair looks better in that movie than in some other movies. I heard he was wearing a wig in some of his movies before he decided to go completely bald and I am surprised he didn't keep wearing it in some movies 'cause I heard Steven Segal wears a wig in his movies and that makes sense 'cause he looks like he was a more receding hairline in some of his earliest movies than his newest and he was on TV yesterday 'cause he is touring Australia and wants people to come and meet him and he looked like he had a wig on. I wonder how many actors wear wigs. I think there would have been more that did it in the past but it could still be happening now and we are unaware of it and they put their hair on for the movies and TV shows and take it off when they go somewhere public and nobody recognises them. I didn't mean 'Hudson Hawk' though and thought it was funny but each their own.

Never saw Hudson Hawk. My brother owns a copy and occasionally watches it. So out of 7.5 billion people on Earth only 2 enjoyed it.

I know a number of other people who liked 'Hudson Hawk' too so there are definitely more than two of us and my Aunt liked it and she was a big fan of 'Moonlighting' but doesn't like a lot of Bruce Willis' latest roles. I take it you are not much of a Bruce Willis fan dazz but I liked quite a few of his movies from the 90s and early 00s and Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, Steven Segal and Dolph Lundgren were really popular here in that time and had heaps of movies out and it was the time of the Action hero which has now mostly been replaced with superhero movies. Did you watch many of those movies?

I am a fan of Bruce Willis the actor when he gives a shit or isn't taking himself too seriously, not a fan at all of Bruce Willis the egomaniac who drives people to illness due to working with him, I loved his action stuff from the 80's even through much of the 00's, I loved his willingness to be in silly shit like Look Who's Talking, or that kid show where he was voicing a child spy, or The Kid when he's allowed himself to look like an arsehole, not a fan though of him when he doesn't care or he gets to up his own arse over stuff like many of his recent stuff and the most recent chapters of Die Hard when McClain is no longer a normal albeit tough a shit guy, but a near full blown superhero.
I also like the whole 9 yards and it's sequel to a degree.

"Hudson Hawk" is a blight on humanity! Every copy of that movie should be burned and the ashes buried and the earth salted!
And that's coming from a huge Bruce Willis fan.

Okay. Fair enough. I liked a number of his movies in the 80s, 90s and 00s too and aside from the ‘Die Hard’ trilogy that most fans like I like ‘The Last Boy Scout’, ‘Mercury Rising’, ‘Striking Distance’, ‘The Jackal’, ‘Twelve Monkeys’, ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘Death Becomes Her’, ‘Unbreakable’, ‘Bandits’, ‘The Kid’ ‘The Whole Nine Yards’, ‘The Whole Ten Yards’, ‘Hostage’, ‘Planet Terror’, ‘Red 1 and 2’and some others but I have not been overly fond of some of his more recent movies where they made out he was the main star on the ads and he only had a small part in them or played the villain I find that very misleading and annoying and they did that with the latest Predator movie with Yvonne Strahovski and 'Welcome to the Jungle' with Jean Claude Van Dame which I thought was a sequel to the 'Welcome to the Jungle' movie with The Rock, Seann William Scott and Rosario Dawson and was going to be very similar and it wasn't. I remember reading there was supposed to be another sequel to 'The Whole Nine Yards' and it was going to be a trilogy but I think it has been dropped.

I just find it funny when he sings and he really seems to be enjoy himself. I also read he started out in music before becoming an actor playing saxophone for some famous Jazz artists.

Do you remember when he created an alter ego for himself named Bruno something who was a rock star? He made a faux documentary about the character and even did actual live rock concerts as this alter ego.
