Yeah, he compiled all that and you couldn't say any proper in response. Just throw in the towel, throwback.

sigh indeed, so you got nothing. Just generic deflections sloppily googled together without any relevance, like a child unwilling to do homework. I highlight again your claim you must prove. Don't fail me again, Dredd. Whatever. At this point I don't think any response that is not in favor of your point of view would be considered as "something". There's that ol' ego again.

They are made for Kids if they weren't they would be like Winter Soldier and Black Panther They're made for everybody, you can enjoy their movies at any age and be satisfied. Kids can watch for the spectacle, the pretty colors, and the quirky interaction between characters but adult viewers will can watch for more defined reasons such as political and sociological themes and analyze the effectiveness of the visual storytelling. It's not any different than Pixar, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or Studio Ghibli. Kids movies, they way you would describe them as being anyway, would be more apt to, say, Alvin & The Chipmunks. Kids could really only enjoy those types of movies, but in older age the appreciation dies out and what was amusing at a time becomes an annoyance. Theres kiddy PG13 movies like Back to the future and Ghostbusters, then theres mature adult PG13 movies like Dark Knight and Xmen films. MCU is the former, i would says its designed 80% towards kids and 20% to adults. The themes and depth of the movies are limited even in the more serious entries like Civil War and Winter Soldier. But their formula works because that lopsided balance makes them the most cash.

Winter Soldier's reliance on Star Wars story structure and plot is nothing new and obvious, to the point this film was called "Return of the Winter Soldier" or "Revenge of the Winter Soldier". By who? A quick google search shows results "Return of the Winter Soldier" for the collection of Winter Soldier comics published before the only other mention - the link you posted. "Revenge Of The Winter Soldier" returns your post above only. Now there may be more, but a cursory look doesn't seem to back this up.

I see what is there, it's just the facts. Is there any serious analysis claiming that the described SWU plot points were stolen from Marvel comics? I don't think so, or people would have relentlessly blamed and roasted Lucas for this. But calm down, it all stays in the Disney family.

They didn't do their homework either? [qote]Is there any serious analysis claiming that the described SWU plot points were stolen from Marvel comics?[/quote] No, because back then no one cared that much.

I don't think so, or people would have relentlessly blamed and roasted Lucas for this. But calm down, it all stays in the Disney family. Well there is this I posted earlier.... People born with superhuman abilities (mutants/Jedi) are split into two opposing factions - the good (X-Men/Jedi) and the evil (Mutant terrorists/Sith).
Mutants/Jedi are mentored by someone with great mental powers (Professor X/Yoda).
One of the Mutants/Jedi mentors (Professor X/Obi Wan) was once a close friend with their powerful, orphaned, helmet & cloak wearing nemesis (Magneto/Darth Vadar).
Professor X/Obi Wan takes the son of their nemesis (Quicksilver/Luke) under their wing.
Quicksilver/Luke were brought up unaware that they and their twin sister (Scarlett Witch/Leia) were the children of Magneto/VadarIt may not be considered "serious analysis" but it's still facts

I consider both to be better than nearly every comic book movie besides TDK, Logan, WS, BP, Superman The Movie and Watchmen.

I just read the WS-directors claim WS is based on French Connection, Heat or Blow Out. Sure, the hypocracy is strong with these ones, conveniently omitting that WS is essentially a rehash of central Star Wars plot points. I'm not talking about the explicit Star Wars referrence in WS but key plot points and character motivation, for instance:
What a blatant rip-off sans the outstanding Star Wars imagination, music and art design... trust your feelings, you know it to be true.
WOW the crazy cat lady is strong in you....

Wait...
Is this trying to be like me when I said that DoFP (the movie) was a rip-off of Terminator 2? And when I said that X1 and X2 was a rip-off of A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back (respectively).

Directors like them have no idea how to make a movie like Heat or French Connection.

Somewhere on IMDBv2 there is a list of all the similarities between Justice League and The Avengers and the list is longer and more specific than your Star Wars/WS list.
But none of it actually matters. It's the quality of the movies that counts.

You know what's funny? You can put everything in that list to X-men: Apocalypse.
Infiltration of the government? Check. Apocalypse uses Xavier to infiltrate all governments.
Attack the headquarters? Check. Magneto turns on Xavier and Apocalypse attacks the school.
The main protagonist are attacked but manage to escape the purge and plan to strike back? Check. The future X-men hide when Stryker attacks and kidnap some of them and plan to help them escape.
Brainwashed old friend? Check. Magneto...
Mask to conceal his identity? Well, Anakin didn't wear the mask to conceal his identity. Yoda and Obi Wan and bunch of the Imperial higher ups knew who he was. But given a helmet? Check. Apocalypse gives Magneto his helmet.
Mentor/son/old friend tries to redeem helmeted character high up in there air? Double check. Both Mystique and Quicksilver goes to Magneto who is high up in a bubble made of metal. Cyclops, Phoenix and Storm attacking him. Lots of explosions.
Turning back to the light side again? Check. Because well Magneto.
You guys better get your own house in order 1st.
