From Muslims to Hindus, from Buddhists to Atheists. Christians are getting targeted from all angles and it's only going to get worse. But as I've said previously those groups all share a common denominator...and that is the same ANTICHRIST SPIRIT. One thing these haters don't realise is that they're actually fulfilling Bible prophecy and thus inadvertently affirming the legitimacy of Christianity.
""Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers" Matthew 24:9

Speaking "worldwide", what percentage of Christians, would you say, are being persecuted?

Speaking "worldwide", what percentage of Christians, would you say, are being persecuted? It's a sad fact that there are areas where Christians are, in all seriousness, killed and persecuted. The other sad fact is that atheism encroaching on Christianity's hold on the culture and demanding a voice as far as secular government or discrimination laws goes, is going to be spun, spun, spun into "persecution!". Hell, a discussion on sensible gun laws has been spun into persecution in conversations I've been in.

Christians are being assaulted under atheistic regimes in countries like China and North Korea.

please.
after thousands of years of a glorified, guilt-ridden crime against humanity, i'm completely shocked that people are still buying into those shopping carts of horse manure.
persecution? the entire concept of god(s) reigning and ruling over mankind is and has been a persecution against any and all things rational and sincere. so nix the perpetual whine-fest and join the human race.

See my first sentence. I don't need a Youtube short to follow global news. Some of the worst physical persecution of Christians currently You'd have to live in a cave for this to be news. Christians in China were being asked to replace pictures of Christ with pictures of Xi Jinping or lose social services months ago - stuffs been going on a while. Again: see my first sentence. The dangers of suckling on Youtube: "Oh my god, look at this thing the adults have been reading about for ages!" Also might wanna curb that sexual insecurity a bit there, bruv. Your hens are loose again. What's weird is I tried to tell Ada about violent Christian persecution before we even left IMDB and was told it was all so much hokum. Poor thing.

(Read my question again if you're not sure.) Not sure it reveals that exact stat. It does say Christians account for 80% of victims of religious persecution, with a Christian being killed every six minutes. Over 90,000 Christians are killed for their faith each year. Christians face persecution in 139 different countries around the world.

It does say Christians account for 80% of victims of religious persecution, with a Christian being killed every six minutes. Over 90,000 Christians are killed for their faith each year. Christians face persecution in 139 different countries around the world. Don't restrict persecution to just killing. I'm sure you'll find this quote interesting (from what looks to be a reliable source): In my book, Christianophobia: A Faith Under Attack (Rider, 2012), I quote figures from the Pew Forum and the World Evangelical Alliance estimating that 200 million Christians (10 per cent of the global total) are socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs. www.civitas.org.uk/pdf/Shortt_Christianophobia.pdf
I have no reason to doubt that figure. So, does it mean what you say in your OP that it means? For me, it's an example of the sad truth that minorities get persecuted, whether they're religious, racial, ethnic, political, or sexual. But for YOU, it is proof that there is a God, and that Christianity is his favored and true religion. The persecution, as you put it, is "actually fulfilling Bible prophecy and thus inadvertently affirming the legitimacy of Christianity. ""Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers" Matthew 24:9 That prophesy seems to say that if you are a Christian, you will be persecuted. Count on it. Persecution for a Christian will be the rule, not the exception. But if it is true that (according to Christianophobia), worldwide, one Christian in ten is persecuted, that makes persecution the exception, not the rule.
Your video might serve as a plea for more tolerance. But that doesn't interest you. You'd rather offer it as proof that the Christian religion is the "true" one. By that measure, you fall on your face.

I'm sure there is some genuine persecution (mostly in Muslim nations). Western societies not catering to Christianity anymore doesn't count as "persecution" though if that's what the video is referring to

What drama queens those Christians are with their victim complex. Love making a big hoo-ha over a minor issue. You're such a tool!

So your post basically comes down to claiming that there are over 2billion Christians in the world and 200million socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs is not really a huge percentage, so no big deal. Just another example of minorities being oppressed? LOL
