Its the truth. Films like First Avenger and Iron Man 1 are very close to origin films like X1, Batman Begins, Spiderman 1. They share similar tone of humour, extended dialogue scenes, classical villains, slower paced methodical style film making instead of garbage like Ragnarok. The good scheduling may be so, but thats what Tye Sheridan is talking about: the MCU movies just feel and look recycled and obviously meant for mass audience checklisting. Theres no real art or craft to their approach wheras films like Logan, Deadpool and DOFP bring something new and fresh to the genre each time. I notice you only say the ones that made money. First Class is a better movie than DoFP, but you guys never say that movie. Why don't you say Apocalypse of X-men Origins since Fox is so much better? Why not say X3? Because you know you'll start losing credibility (which you guys aren't far off from with saying the same 3 movies over and over).

Ah yes the X-Men franchise that keeps bring back Magneto as a villain, only to betray someone (mostly Xavier and the X-Men), and Mystique in almost every movie. Have a silly slow mo set piece/scene (Wolverine clawing the Statue of Liberty in his fight with Sabretooth in X1, Nightcrawer's opening fight in X2, Quicksilver's Pentagon and X Mansion Scenes), Stryker being in X2 and every movie since FC with no character development, Jean just being either pre Phoenix or the Phoenix, the President/White House being involved in many of these X-Men Films, repeated scenes with young Cyclops being in a school (Qrigins and Ivan Ooze), Scenes of the X-Men getting their asses kicked badly (like Wolverine getting his ass beaten badly by Mystique and Sabretooth in X1, Deathstrike in X2, Juggernaut in X3, and Sabretooth again in Origins, Mecha Silver Samurai in The Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm all powerful mutants getting their asses kicked by Toad in X1, the DOFP sentinels easily slaughtering mutants, the mutant cure/power damping gimmick they keep rehashing since X3, repeating young Magneto holocaust scenes (X1, FC, Ivan Ooze), Magneto escaping prison (X2, DOFP), Chess games between Magneto and Xavier, Weapon X experiment referenced (X1, X2, Origins, DOFP, Ivan Ooze), the Cyclops/Wolverine/Jean love triangle, Alkali Lake, Xavier easily getting taken out (X1 by Mystique, X2 by Stryker, X3 by Jean) or powerless (FC, DOFP, Ivan Ooze),
Yeah FOX-Men movie are never at all formulaic or extremely repetitive...

They're taking a cosmic storyline and 'grounding' it because they're too incompetent to do otherwise. Nice to see some things never change. They aren't shaking up crap, they're just doing what FoX-Men's been doing for 18 years. Which is why they've been left in the dust and why they'll be going the way of the Dodo soon. Dark Phoenix is not a cosmic storyline. It takes place in Earth’s oribit.

Funny since Fox has been telling the doing the same X-Men storyline for years. Magneto teams up with the X-Men until he double crosses them. First Class happened in 2011. The franchise since 2000.

Over 95% of the storyline takes place near earth.

The really really important pages. You might as well do a Superman story where he's just a powered up human instead of an alien.

That's what I meant, the whole cast and crew that keep telling us about how ground breaking it is. It better fucking deliver! Then you have them pushing the movie back with reshoots. I don't know what to think. Or maybe that means my care for Dark Phoenix is dropping even lower. GIT GUD!!Well it was for both competition and reworking the third act.

GIT GUD!!Well it was for both competition and reworking the third act. There was no competition until the middle (Fantastic Beasts 2) and end (Creed 2 and Wreck-it Ralph 2) of the month. If they saw those movies as competition then there is something wrong with this movie.

okay now I have time to think, this is another actor that has called mcu movies generic. LMAO.
only he is a child, usually when David Fincher or John Landis says it, mcu fans call them dated and jealous, now the kids crowd Disney tries to appeal to like tye, he is way too smart to like mcu movies.
ha, I knew mcu movies were too dumb even for many kids out there. how can they not be? these kids watched smart shows like xmen tas and batman tas. no way will they no see facts.
kids also watched DOFP, Man of steel and TDKR in the disney marvel era. um, yeah. the truth was there.

First Class happened in 2011. The franchise since 2000. It happened in 2003 in X2. No, it didn’t. Seems that you haven’t seen that movie in a very long time and don’t remember it very well. Because Magneto worked with the X-Men in X2 to save mutantkind from genocide and never fought, attacked, or ruined the plan of the X-Men in X2 at all. So what exactly do you mean by double cross? Because he continued to be a bad guy afterwards? Magneto never gave any indication he was going to reform nor did anyone in the film believed that he would. Hell, he made jokes about what did to Rogue in X1 showing no remorse. The X-Men were going to put Magneto back in prison after that was over.
