Ouch. I thought 'Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' was quite bad even by a brainless entertainment film standard (better than Rob Cohen's previous effort 'Stealth', though, I'll give it that). Was Dark Universe's 'The Mummy' really THAT bad? I mean, I'm aware of its infamy, but still... It's very bland, visually dry, and has one too many things going on. Russell Crowe and Sofia Boutella are the only thins going for it. On a side note, why do I have a feeling that 'Incredibles 2' might actually be the best superhero film of 2018?

First two Spiderman movies and ASM movies say hi,pg13,serious and great. RDJ just got lucky thats it,imagine if they went with Tom Cruise or other actor the mcu would be still be around 1. All 'Spider-Man' films are rated PG-13, including 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'.
2. MCU is still around. Try harder.
and yet homecoming's spiderman cant punch people. toby's spiderman can. both are pg 13. disney's pg 13 is a difference.

The superhero movie and comic book movie genre in general was looked down on for years by critics much like Horror movies and critics used to tear strips out of DC and Marvel movies and thought superheroes like Superman and Spider-Man were called overpowered and unrealistic. It is only in the past 15 years when the superhero movie genre has really taken off that critics have changed their attitudes towards superhero movies but don't think for one second it is 'cause they like them 'cause if you do some research on some of the critics who are praising them the most now they are the EXACT same people who were criticising them before and hated the entire concept of superheroes. They praise whatever is popular and whatever they are told to praise as long as the money is right. If movies about cows and goats were popular now they would be praising them left, right and centre. They are nothing more than paid tools and sellouts which is why I don't take anything critics say seriously anymore.
