Troll--someone who posts opinions, especially that they don't actually agree with, just to get people worked up, just to be an disruptive asshole.
So that doesn't include someone posting opinions they agree with in most contexts (in some contexts it might, but it would have to be a pretty specific context), and it doesn't include someone posting opinions they don't agree with, where they're getting people upset, when they have either a humor-oriented motivation, or where they're doing so to make a broader ideological point. The motivation has to be the person simply wanting to be an asshole.

FOX News has been trolling everyone (although even they can't handle it sometimes). There are people that genuinely like him for some reason, but then there are people that go out of their way to make it look like he's doing a good job. Trump is the real life DCEU. |

There should be a movie or TV episode where anyone who continually trolls on an Internet board literally turns into a troll, but there’s a catch; as long as the person doesn’t figuratively see himself as a troll, he won’t literally see himself as one (in a mirror), even though everyone else does.
Hey, now that I think of it, I like this concept more and more… Call it The Trollhunter or something.
