There should be a movie or TV episode where anyone who continually trolls on an Internet board literally turns into a troll, but there’s a catch; as long as the person doesn’t figuratively see himself as a troll, he won’t literally see himself as one (in a mirror), even though everyone else does. Hey, I like the concept… Call it The Trollhunter or something. Sounds like an idea for a Black Mirror episode. Email Charlie Booker and tell him he can have the idea for next season. Then you can sue him for stealing your IP.

Is DC-Fan a troll simply because he doesn't like MCU movies? Of course not. A troll is someone who posts incendiary remarks for the sole purpose of agitating other people. In DC-Fraud’s case, those remarks are often of the, it’s too stupid to believe, category. It’s interesting how irritating an idiot can be, and for some folks, this sort of trolling comes naturally. I would say it is the most prevalent form of trolling on this board due to the low effort/high return ratio. It can be hard for regular folks to resist pouncing on a particularly stupid statement. And for the troll, it doesn’t matter that their argument is easily destroyed. They feed purely on the fact that they got any sort of reaction. That is why the Fraud keeps coming back for more ... despite losing pretty much every argument he has ever been in ... and usually in a manner that would embarrass most folks into silence. But, if you have no shame, things like that simply do not bother you. Dishonesty is another effective trolling technique, though less prevalent than stupidity. I think that most of the trolls on this board would rather avoid descending to this level ... with one exception. Everyone hates a liar, and an overt act of dishonesty will usually get a swift and angry reaction. Candy to this sort of troll. DC-Fan earned the moniker, DC-Fraud, after he was caught vandalizing a Wikipedia article in order to fabricate support for a stupid argument that he was having on this forum. True to form, he has expressed no remorse or regret. Instead, he insists he was the victim of an incredible series of coincidences, that no one believes. This was not the first act of DC-Dishonesty on this forum, nor will it be the last. I don't think there is much disagreement that the posts by the Fraud are both stupid and dishonest. The question is - is he doing it on purpose just to torque off others? We can find the answer in the many instances where DC-Fraud whines about how his sensibilities were violated by some MCU fans in the past, picking on his beloved DC superheroes. He is obviously still very angry about that and his presence here is nothing more than an attempt at retribution. That is why DC-Fan is a troll.

If my time on imdb.com message boards has taught me anything is that a troll is someone who has a unpopular opinion.
For Example I once told Trekkies that JJ Abrams Star Trek remake film is a 10/10 and the only thing worthwhile from the Star Trek franchise.
They called me a troll.

If my time on imdb.com message boards has taught me anything is that a troll is someone who has a unpopular opinion. Ah, the Troll denier. You don’t think the fabled internet troll exists because someone called you a troll once? 1. There are Trolls, capital T, as defined in my first post. Disturbed individuals who can do nothing else. 2. There is the person who occasionally trolls for shits and giggles. I think many people are guilty of this every once in a while. Not a big deal ... though they can easily drift into #1 Troll territory, if they’re not careful. 3. There is the person who expresses an unpopular opinion, perhaps a bit inelegantly, and is improperly labeled a troll. All three situations exist, and in all three, the accused troll always say they are just expressing an opinion. ... Only one is right.

Someone who posts hateful comments to stir things up. If someone doesn't like something, like the MCU for example, they would simply not post here.

There is no such thing as a troll. It's in this Board's constitution.
Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion Board Constitution
Article I - There is no such thing as a Troll. Trolls do not exist. There are only dissenting views. When you get banned from this board, as so frequently is the case, it is because you have infringed on someone's right to express their dissenting opinions as often as they wish in the manner that they are accustomed to. You are in the wrong if you disagree with someone's contrarian opinion that is based on the conflation of multiple points of disparate (and seemingly false) information and, you deserved to be banned. If you are confronted with an asymmetrical argument that relies on a new and "hitherto unknown" system of logic, you must submit and let it stand as "new truth" or face banishment.
Article II - There is no such thing as a fan. Fans do not exist. There are only psychophants who lack the intelligence to discern that being a fan is a negative state of being. A null. A zero. A void. To show open and unabashed appreciation for a thing or idea demotes you to the lowest form of life. You should be soaked in super unleaded, lacerated with surgical-grade scapels and, only when you accept the folly of your position will you be set ablaze.
Article III - DC-Fan is always right. If you disagree with him, you are wrong, and you will inevitably be banned.
Article IV - The MCU is not the fandom of destiny, it is the fandom of derision. It is an affront to all life everywhere. Its popularity, critical praise, strategic acuity and financial proficiency are all the result of the machinations of the Quantum-enabled mouseOS. At all times you must refuse and resist its ever-increasing sphere of influence.

Again I don't see it, but I'll throw this out here. "Troll" has gotten to the point where people, especially angry fanboys, uptight journalist/bloggers and even social media whores, like to throw the word around so much that it lost any real meaning. So the way I see it now we're all trolls. Including you. So lighten up buttercup! Enjoy the shit show that is the internet.
