The only one I have seen was Sixth Sense, and it appealed to me because I connected with his widow' grief; I, too, am a widow. Edit: And it doesn't hurt to look at Bruce Willis, either...

Andrew Sarris once wrote, “If [Robert] Rossen had never been overrated, he would now be due for cultish rediscovery…”
As for Rossen, so for Shyamalan. He has immense talent, knows instinctively how to frame and give meaning to a shot, and unites a Spielbergian ethos with a Hitchcockian technique. His eternal problem is that we expected too much. He was hailed as a new Spielberg as early as 2000, when we should have recognized that he was more than anything himself—but, as Shyamalan failed to meet the expectation, he was more or less ostracized, becoming a director-for-hire for such schlock as The Last Airbender and After Earth.
I think we expected Shyamalan to be a great director, which he’s not—but he is a very good director, even if his conceitedness gets the better of him at times. With that said, Signs is a masterpiece of building tension, and the interest in faith and ‘signs’ is uniquely Shyamalanian; The Village and The Sixth Sense are also excellent.

If nothing else, I wish PC culture could put into retirement that tired ass nickname.

1. The Sixth Sense 2. Signs 3. Split So many people list 'The Village'. I would have liked it if I hadn't figured out the twist about a quarter way through the film.

1. The Village 2. Signs 3. The Sixth Sense
Runners Up: Unbreakable The Lady in the Water - Only because Paul Giamatti is awesome in just about everything he's in. I didn't like the story though.
The Happening could have been a good film, but Wahlberg was over the top. I remember the old Wahlberg talks to animals skits on SNL. Hilarious.
