Must have been Alien.
The reaction from the cat towards the alien is actually a reaction to a German Shepherd.

Austin Powers trilogy - Myers & Roach - Nothing too surprising, though several fun scenes were pickups on the fly, to bridge some scenes together - & most of those were some of the more beloved.
Meatballs - Reitman & Goldberg - The film was to be focused on the CITs, & yet the Tripper-Rudy angle grew out of their performances & likeability. The romance angle between the girl telling her crush had more filmed scenes together, traditional teen romance & more drama... all but trimmed to mere moments. - Tripper-Rudy at the diner was some backlot room, posters of bus lines & destinations on the walls to sell it lols. - Tripper's cabin scenes were entirely pickups, including the very opening to the movie! They just wanted more Murray, & more Tripper-Rudy with the blackjack stuff. A giveaway is there's no windows, utterly strange for a camp cabin - it was a full set, 3 walled for free shooting. - Murray improvised practically everything, albeit keeping to the storylines. 'It Just Doesn't Matter!' was improvised out of nowhere.

Never once. If we're talking about the commentary that plays over the video or show, I avoid them.

The Passenger, starring and commentated on by Jack Nicholson. I didn't know he did any so it was a cool listen.

I listened to the commentary on the 2001: A Space Odyssey DVD not long ago. It was done by Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood. Very interesting all the way through except for a few stretches of silence. They talk about the making of the film and how they got involved in it and they also give their interpretations of some of the less comprehensible parts of the story. I can recommend this one.
