Atheists who refuse to embrace even the notion of any spirituality? FSM? That is just stupid. Give me a fucking break. Christians who stick to just God, Jesus and the bible and are dogmatic and material? Or those like me who have faith and beliefs not in a central one all being "god" but in many spiritual beings and not a heaven or hell when we die but may come back again? Or something else?
I am very happy and content with what I have faith in and find it a lot more open minded than being a dumb atheist or retarded god fearing Christian.
I doubt it's as black and white as those who don't believe vs those who believe claim it all is.

"Atheists who refuse to embrace even the notion of an spirituality?"
The two aren't mutually exclusive. Many Buddhists are actually atheists.

"Atheists who refuse to embrace even the notion of an spirituality?" The two aren't mutually exclusive. Many Buddhists are actually atheists. The key word is "many." There are also many Jews that are actually atheists too. Buddhism is polytheistic. It just doesn't happen to believe in a Supreme Creator.

I embrace spirituality. Usually when I'm out of Stella, and I need that extra buzz...

Not sure how that refutes my point.
"There are also many Jews that are actually atheists too"
Depends on the context you're using word "Jew". Many ethnic jews are indeed atheists, obviously actual religious, practicing Jews aren't atheist.

When is a theist not a theist? When he's a-theist.

Rejecting silly ideas is not about being closed-minded. It is about having a critical skeptic mind. Nothing dumb about that. The OP is just flat out trolling.

The idea of "spiritual" stuff is a nice fantasy, and I'd especially really, really like for spiritual and supernatural stuff to be true when it comes to ghosts, vampires, and other horror literature tropes, but there's zero evidence for any of that stuff, and even aside from empirical evidence there are zero good reasons to believe any spiritual, supernatural etc. claims, since most of it is completely tenuous if not outright incoherent philosophically.

If it's one thing I love about the atheists here, it's that they always discuss things factually and with demonstrable evidence.

Refusing to accept specific claims concerning a particular god, the nature of reality or meaning of existence, will always be the most enlightened mindset. It's the most unbiased and most objective mindset.

Those who believe whatever they believe.... while understanding that others have the right to believe whatever they believe.
...as long as that belief doesn't cause harm to anyone or thing.

OK so I am bragging and showing my pride and do feel better that my spiritual beliefs fall somewhere in the middle. I could have phrased it differently without showing my bias, but at the same time, I really am curious to get others thoughts and opinions on this.

How do you explain ghost sightings? And there have been photos. Were all those proven to be fakes?
