Thanks buddy. The feeling is mutual, which is why I responded to you (as opposed to others). It's not worth engaging those that you don't respect because it just de-escalates too fast. It's up to us to get past the fruitless back-and-forth bickering, ad hominem crap and get back to actual discussion and debate. Definitely a tough road to hoe but we can do it! Also, sorry man, but you know the rules. When DC-Fan agrees with you or likes your post..... I automatically lost this argument. You are correct. Oh well.

It can go long if the US populations majority are livng well or better than before.
This majority will include the supporters of Trump, the right wing, the centre ground(us cenre) and much of the supposedly liberal middle class; As long as i have my massive tim car, 2.5 kids, big wood house, occasional blowjob/eat out or affair, cheap massive steak, larger cans of coke than the rest of the world, guns, pretend freedom, church with evan nutter, rhetoric on tv to massage americans egos as if they are gods children, all you can eat lobster, rhetoric to show they win diplomatic battles v supposed enemies, or even suppsed best mates.
i think the us can and will forget the evil that trump has carried out (seperating kids from parents) and other stuff maybe not pure evil but very selfish where no one will win (trade wars),
so like i said i think the average yank will stick by the fool if life is still good for him/her (i would love to be proved wrong)
and tbh the US isnt slowing down. companies like google, facebook, apple, microsoft, netflix, amazon, ubber, starbucks, mcdonalds, coke, blah blah are showing no signs of trouble - trump does what he wants yet the rest of the world keep buying US stuff.. . Obama tried to open up the US and be more politicaly liberal and economically liberal , this makes the job (us president) a tough one. when obama comprimised with the EU and others on non p-rofitable endevours although that was seen as an opening up and kinder US, it gave someone like TRump the power to slap him down and buy the U\S peoples souls - with greed , or at least the pretense of being ablke to buy every gadget and food stuff with loads 0of available credit- wall street/wolf of wall street mentality.
trump has to hurt the populace in the pocket to lose next time. i cant see it happening as the companies i mentioned plus so many others are too big and run themselves- even if retaliation tarrifs get lumped on US major sectors(not just wheat and milk etc) maybe some backlash will occur - but then again maybe not. because the US home market of close to 400m is a good base(and a true 400m unlike the EU 480m that has many nations within that buy its own nations pritucts first - omn the US there isnt much of a 'loyality to state; when purchasing. And anyway most non ud will still buy US ipads and crap food with xx tarrif slapped on.
Obama is not my kind of politician , but he did open the US up to the rest of the world. t gave the nation some soul at the least. Trump is only showing greed and glutonony, selfishness, brashness - its odd i honestly think he talks about that North korean nut better than his best mates in power....
