Let me try and gauge your level of bias in this, did you like the first one? I'm trying to gauge how well your opinions could align or differ from mine. Knowing if you hated the first or whether you really liked the first one will help me gauge as to whether I'd expect your opinion to reflect mine. I liked the first film.....even though he's like 55 years old (a 25-30 year old assassin would be more believable)....I enjoyed the original. I enjoyed the first one quite a lot, but didn't love it. Compared to John Wick it scored lower for me, but I did enjoy watching it. I think I rated it low 7/10 or high 6. I was going into the second one expecting similar level of mindless fun. Fun being the important part. This one just dragged and was too filled with lessons on morality and lacked in the action and stylistics where the first one peaked. Let me know what you think once you have seen it, always interested to hear other peoples opinions.

If nora was even slightly competent this might mean something. Since her taste in movies and writing ability are both for shit I would advise everyone to ignore her and decide for themselves. I'll wait until it's free like I did the first one but NEVER take nora's advice about movies or anything for that matter.

Well said. After all, we cant all be you, good Sir. I liked his post as well Nora, just so I could stand right next to you. Always good to see you by my side. And it was a well written post. Showcasing mental strength, maturity, impeccable taste, talent for words, emotional intelligence and much more. I am considering asking him to let me use parts of the post for my tombstone. Hows this for the writing on my grave: "If Nora was even slightly competent this might mean something. NEVER take Nora's advice." I am thinking this could SAVE LIVES.

This one had too many seemingly separate storylines before the main one came into focus. Aside from the needless scene which ended with the "four star review", it wasn't awful.
Training Day is still the high point in the Denzel Washington/Antoine Fuqua combo. 7/10

Christopher Walked, talking about Denzel Washington's character in MAN ON FIRE. "He is an artist of Death and he is about to paint his masterpiece."

You're spot on girl. I did like the first movie a lot more than I thought tho.

My advice is DON'T punch yourself in the face as hard as you can.
