Disney is a terrible company to work for, what filmmaker would want to Make Star Wars or Marvel with them. Kevin Feige is a fucking coward.

So an Alex Jones cohort who accuses people he disagrees with of pedophilia. Pled down a rape charge. Nice guy, Ackbar. Don't think its a trap?

darkpast is using Crazy Days and Nights as a source.
Anyone cared to say anything about that?

For the sake of consistency he honestly should be fired for his tweets.

Wow, this is an excellent piece of reporting. Well sourced, cogently written and unimpeachable in its presentation of the facts. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think he should've been fired, but at the end of the day it's up to the employer.
I find it hilarious that Roseanne gets fired and everyone applauds ABC (who is owned by Disney) for their decision, but then James Gunn gets fired and everyone suddenly says Disney is anti-free speech and made the wrong decision.
They did almost the exact same thing - Tweeted out something stupid that they meant as a joke. They both got fired. What makes James Gunn immune to firing and Roseanne perfectly suitable to be fired?
And that's coming from a guy that likes James Gunn and hates Roseanne.

So there's a rumour going around that Chris, Zoe, Dave and Pom are going to make a group response to give marvel an ultimatum. What that is? I don't know. But speculation is they may walk away from the franchise if Gunn isn't rehired.

If you’re just fooling around, what do you find bogus about it? When I'm all done, and I have to go before the creator and account for all of the heinous crimes I committed against my fellow man, do you know what I'm going to say in my defense? Dear God, I was framed. Please reread darkpast's quotes and decide for yourself whether or not I am being serious.

And that's coming from a guy that likes James Gunn and hates Roseanne. The two situations aren't exactly the same, conflating them shows a dangerous lack of critical thinking. The only thing that the two individuals have in common is the platform they used to deliver their tasteless rhetoric. Roseanne Barr insulted a living person --- very recently. Although once a public figure, Valerie Jarrett is now more or less a private citizen. This makes Barr's comments libelous as neither Ms. Jarrett nor her lineage is Muslim. When asked to explain herself, Barr blamed her overt racism on her prescription medication. James Gunn posted insensitive remarks, designed to offend everyone within earshot, seemingly for his own amusement --- seven to ten years ago. James Gunn took full responsibility for his comments, stating that he did not live things he posted. Other than asking for the forgiveness of those he offended, Gunn sought no further clemency and did not try to rationalize or justify his actions. Neither individual deserves a pass; however, their offenses shouldn't be lumped together because they both occurred on the same social network.

The 'Blind Item' is comprised of exactly five sentences that barely succeed in being intelligible in the language they were written in. It cites no sources or references and doesn't name the second of the two parties it discusses. No offense but, are you purposefully being thick, or does the story genuinely strike you as being legitimate and newsworthy?

And... Apparently, per these people, that’s the proof that this is a credible site. My real question is, did you find something faulty in his claim on how police procedure works? P.S. Honestly... with so many of these claims... I have no idea if they think they’re really going after child rapists or they’re using child rapist claim to hide their own crimes.

Disney could have asked Barr to apologize and leave it at that. She was the star of the show. But they decided insulting a no name Obama official was more serious than ratings.
We already know Disney doesn't think pedophilia is a big deal since they hired a convicted pedo for POWDER.
The thing is, if Hollywood opened up the business to artists from the general population again (i.e. Walt Disney was from the general population)such things wouldn't matter because there would be lots of talented people to replace these Liberal wingnuts.
